T H I R T Y   O N E

After Harry and I had packed everything from my old room and we explained Emily what had happened, we returned to his flat.

Harry cooked some fish with vegetables and we both had dinner.
Neither of us were very talkative tonight, but I knew he would listen if I wanted to talk about something. He was there.

Harry bought some ice cream as dessert and by eleven pm we were both laying on his bed. Not in the mood for anything else.

I sank my head in the pillow and I felt him moving closer to me.
He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled my back against his front, spooning me from behind.

I intertwined our hands and he nuzzled his nose in the crock of my neck.
I felt his scent all around me, and I knew I was somehow safe.

He had assured me I was going to be part of his company, that he won't let me down, that I was going to make it, and that I didn't need a stupid degree to be the best and to succeed. He was the living proof of it.

And now I didn't only have a boyfriend, but also I was going to live with him. I had found my home.

I better see the half full of the glass.

"I'm going to stay with you tomorrow morning. I don't want to leave you like this." - He mumbled.

"What? No, I'm fine. You go teach, I'll stay and unpack my things."

"You sure?"

"Yes, I have plenty to do." - I turned to him and smiled softly.

"Ok bunny. If you are sure."

"I am." - I nodded with a smile.

"So… we are living together now." - He smiled.

"We are."

"How are you feeling?"

I moved closer and lifted my hand to his curls, tangling my fingers around them.

"I'm trying to understand everything I guess. But I'm fine. I really am. Thanks to you though. If it weren't for you I'd still be crying up on that roof."

He giggled a bit.

"You can continue to cry, if you need it." - He said worriedly.

"No, I'm really fine." - I said, continuing playing with his hair.

"Tomorrow you have to go to the rehearsal though. I'll announce that you are the lead and I'll tell Liam he is no longer part of my company."

I closed my eyes and sighed.

"You don't have to fire him, he can just take my place as an ensemble."

"You sure? Wasn't he bothering you?"

"I mean, he saw an opportunity to get the lead and to have attention, I'd have done the same in his place, I don't blame him I guess."

"Maybe."

I smiled softly and pecked his lips. His beautiful and soft lips.

I took some distance just to look at him, to admire his beauty. I lowered my hand to cup his cheek and he leaned against my touch, closing his eyes.
I smiled to myself.

This man is everything I need.

I caressed his cheekbone with my thumb and he sighed.

"I'm yours." - He whispered.

"Mhm?"

He slightly opened his eyes again and softly took my hand between his, kissing my knuckles.
