Luna furrowed her eyebrows at the persistent knocking coming from the front door. Irritation was splashed all over her face as she hit the bottom of the staircase and walked over the door before quickly replacing it with a look of concern, spotting her best friend in tears on her doorstep.
"Liv?" she frowned. "What's wrong?"
"I didn't know where to go." Liv shrugged her shoulders, pulling her sleeve over her fist and wiping her tears off.
"Let's go to my room," she opened the door wider, grabbing her friend's hand and looking around for listening ears. "Please, stop crying."
Luna's comment had seemed to make Liv start crying even more making the girl wince. The two girls had made it up to her room, the latter had immediately plopped down face-first on the bed.
"Okay, tell me what happened?" she sighed.
"I'm an idiot," were the first words out of Liv's mouth. "What I tell you does not leave this room, okay? Promise me? Wait...is anyone home?"
Luna flipped on her back and stretched out, placing her hands behind her head. "Asher's in the guest room. Mom and Peter are also in their room. But, no one cares if you're here."
"This sort of has to do with Asher, so please, do not tell him," she pleaded. "I went to the cafe tonight to tell Spencer how I feel about him and when I went I saw Layla kiss him."
"Oh, that bitch," Luna spat, pulling her friend in for a hug. "I'm sorry, Liv, I know how much you like him."
"It's fine I guess," Liv shrugged, still reeling in her sadness. "I mean it was pretty obvious how they felt about each other. Literally from the first day."
"Layla Keating," she scoffed. "I can't believe she cheated on Ash!"
"He's not entirely innocent," Liv frowned. "Neither am I."
"That was a completely different situation," she defended. "I'm pretty sure Layla and Spencer were sober when they kissed. This is why I don't do boyfriends or girlfriends. Too much drama."
"For now," Liv snorted, cuddling a pillow to her chest. "Can I stay the night?"
"When have I ever said no to that question?" Luna teased, pointing at her closet. "Feel free to grab some pajamas."

If there was anything that Luna was not expecting walking into school a couple of days after the whole Liv catching Spencer and Layla kissing debacle, it was catching Jordan and a girl who looked very familiar to her making out in a car. For the entire school to see, might she add.
