Luna stirred awake fluttering her eyes open as they adjusted to the light streaming in from the blinds. She took a look around at her unfamiliar surroundings and her eyebrows pinched together in confusion before she remembered that she had crashed at Asher's place last night.

She pushed the comforter off of her body and rolled out of bed, grabbing her discarded dress from the night before and slipping on her shoes since Asher had given her clothes to wear. As she attempted to slip out the door she was immediately distracted once she heard not only Harold's voice from the kitchen but as well as Liv's.

She crept up behind Asher and watched the two in confusion. "Did the Grinch's heart grow two sizes or am I hallucinating?"

"The Grinch's heart grew three sizes, not two," Asher corrected with an eye roll. "And shut up this is the first time I've seen my dad smile or laugh in a long time. All thanks to Liv."

She pointed an accusatory finger at him. "You like her!"

"No, I don't," he denied. "She has a boyfriend."

Liv looked up from the counter and caught their attention, sending them warm smiles while she explained her reasoning for showing up at his house. Asher's dad had left the room in the process leaving the teens alone to talk amongst themselves.

"I should probably head home," Luna shoved her hands into the pocket of her hoodie. "Gotta get ready for the game and all of that."

"Hey, Luna?" Liv stopped her. "Thanks...for last night. It meant a lot to me that you were there."

"No problem," she shrugged.

"Maybe you should see Jordan before you go home?" Liv suggested. "It'd mean a lot to him, too."

"I'll do that," Luna nodded. "Now...you two behave yourselves while I'm gone, alright?"

"Leave," Asher deadpanned.

"Liv's not here."

Jordan looked up from his phone at the brunette whose head was peeking into his bedroom door. His statement was to be expected considering she sort of abandoned him for Liv the previous night and didn't bother to spare him a second glance after the fight he started.

"Good thing I'm not here for her," she stepped into his room, planting herself on the edge of his bed. "I'm here for you."

He rolled his eyes, placing his attention back onto his phone. "Why?"

"Because I kind of suck," she admitted. "Last night I told you I'd be there for you because of everything that's going on with your parents. Except, I sort of abandoned you for Liv. But, I meant it when I said that I was here for you."
