Bianca ran to the hallway but was too late. She stopped and hid behind a pillar as she heard the scowls and shushed voices of the death eaters.
Her lips quivered as she heard the muffled screams of Luna. Her heart broke and her throat tightened. When she heard them apparate she shakily walked out the pillar to see Luna's favorite story; Dead Stars by Paz Marquez-Benitez that was a gift from Adelle.
She picked it up and tears fell from her eyes. She messed up, she failed and she knew that.
She heard rushed walking and then they stopped. She looked back to see Neville and Ginny. Bianca shook her head, "I was too late." She cried.
"I'm sorry." She cried as Ginny ran to her. The redhead clung to her and she looked at Neville and cried.
"I'm sorry." She muttered. The Gryffindor rushed to the two girls and hugged them, "You couldn't have done anything." He muttered.
Bianca shook her head, "I could have. I could have let them take me-" "No. Then we would have lost the both of you." Ginny said as she shook her head.
Suddenly Cho ran to the hallway and gulped, "Bianca." She muttered. The Green sighed and stood up, she walked to the Ravenclaw.
Cho's heart was hammering in her chest. Bianca gave her Luna's book, she glanced and saw the familiar flower painted Dead Stars book.
The Ravenclaw breathed in and huffed, "It isn't your fault Bianca. If you showed yourself you could have been caught too and we won't be able to fight if you're gone too." She said.
"I failed-" "Venna must know what's she's doing." Neville cut her off. At that moment Bianca realized that her sister didn't tell her something.
Ginny grabbed her hand and Bianca looked at her, "Don't get angry at Vee, she must have had known what she was doing. And if you fight then how can we win." She said.
Bianca nodded, "You're right. We just have to make sure that we fight here and I'm sure that when Narcissa finds Luna she will take care of her." She muttered.
Neville nodded and hugged the three girls. "We can do this." He whispered. But in Bianca's heart she started to beat herself up. Blame herself that if she was fast enough she would have saved Luna. She would still be here.
