Irene stared at George confused, "Let me guess you have to leave again?" he asked bitterly. The Green didn't know what to feel or react.

She thought George had understood but here he was now, upset and rolling his eyes at her. "George I thought you said you understand?" she asked.

The redhead breathed out, "I did. I thought I did but here you are again, going away to wherever that I don't know." He said.

Irene walked to him and grabbed his hand but he looked away. He didn't have the heart to push her away so when she cupped his cheek he shook his head.

"I need you here Irene." He whispered. Irene's eyebrows furrowed, "Where is this coming from George?" she asked.

George clenched his jaw and moved away. Irene's heart broke as he did. He looked at her in disbelief, "You don't know do you?" he asked.

Irene pursed her lips, trying to stop herself from saying anything sarcastic, he scoffed, "Irene I'm scared!" he yelled.

This made the Green stop. She let out a strangled breath, her eyes watering as she watched her boyfriend pace around.

She didn't dare try to touch him, scared that he would push her away, so she stood there. Unmoving, not understanding what he was talking about.

He looked at her with tears in his eyes. The same eyes that used to look at her with patience and understanding now held fear and worry. ""You don't know what that feels." He muttered.

She shook her head, he could not have been more wrong. She was scared, she was just good at hiding it.

But George didn't know that so he shook his head, "You don't. Because you continue to leave and not explain and you don't care if you get caught. You're not sacred of dying." He continued.

Irene walked to him slowly. "You're wrong. I am scared. Scared that this won't end well-" "That's where you're wrong Irene." He cut her off.

She stopped and looked at him confused as to what he was talking about so he walked to her and grabbed her hands. "I'm not scared of this war, I know I can fight and I will. But what I'm scared of..." he muttered as he stared at her.

"I'm scared of losing you." He cried. A tear slipped out of Irene's eye. Her mouth gaped and he wiped the tear away, "You go gallivanting around and leaving me. I don't know when you'll come back, or if you will ever come back." He admitted.

"I know you won't necessarily leave just like that but what if he gets you-" Irene cupped his cheek and smile, "He won't." she whispered.

"How do you know that?" he asked. Irene tilted her head, "Because we're ready for him." She said with a stern voice.
