Thea was leading them and asking the group to walk faster. "Come on! They're moving quicker." She said. "Are they running from us?" Elena asked.
Five shook his head, "They're most likely hiding from whatever it is that made them go into hiding." He said.
Stefan nodded, "Well we better start picking up the pace." He said. "Tell that to the non-vampires." Emmett snickered.
Carlisle, done of his attitude hit Emmett in the head, "Be polite." Esme scolded him. Rebekah waved the parents off, "No need. Living with Kol and Klaus, they don't have manners." She teased with a smirk on her face.
The brothers shared a look and scoffed. Davina and Hayley chuckled at the two and patted their backs as they walked to Adelle who was walking alone to the side.
Hope, Lizzie, Josie, Vanya and Renesmee tried to talk to her but she was too worried to humor the girls. She was biting her lip when the two women walked to her. She looked at them and smiled, "You okay there?" Hayley asked.
Adelle hummed and nodded, "Yeah." She whispered. "Elle you don't have to lie to us." Davina reminded her.
The girl looked at the sky, the sun was setting, today was the last day. Tomorrow was May 1 and she knew they had to find the pack now or everything would just be for nothing.
She was scared, terrified. She looked around and her heart dropped, they were sacrificing their safety for this fight.
Adelle bit her lip and Davina grabbed her hand, "We're fighting with you." She whispered. But the Green shook her head.
"Maybe it was wrong to bring you here-" "We fight together. We wouldn't be here if we had second thoughts." Hayley cut her off.
But Adelle wasn't having it, the worry eating her whole, it was like she wanted to back out. She wanted to wake up, just like when she was shifting, she wanted to get out of the dream.
Davina cupped her cheeks, "We got this. We've gone this far haven't we?" she asked. Adelle nodded and the mother smiled at her.
Adelle grabbed her hands, "Mom, I don't want you doing this just because I am." She said. Davina shook her head, "Those girls you love so much..." she trailed and tilted her head at her daughter.
"They're as much as family to you as we are, so yes this fight is ours to." She said. Hayley hummed and nodded, "They are ours to protect just the same as we protect you." She said.
The girl hummed and smiled and nodded, "Uh Elle." Edward muttered. The three stopped walking and Adelle walked forward.
"What is it?" she asked. Thea pointed forward, but before Adelle could turn or say anything she was pulled into a hug.
