i had one hand placed firmly on the steering wheel, and my other was placed respectfully on the end of libby's knee. before we came out she grabbed something that looked like a CD that she had burnt herself, and refused to tell me the songs that were on it.

i had trust in her music taste.

i was tapping along to the ABBA song on her knee, while libby was turned in her seat slightly, her hand over mine, facing my direction.

"where are we doing?" the pink twinge on her cheeks from the vivid pursuit we underwent earlier. it was quite adorable.

"you'll see." i gripped her knee slightly tighter, a act of reassurance almost.

the drive wasn't too long, and the music was definitely more than tolerable, i give her props for her attention to music. i pulled the car smoothly into the deserted car park, then gently shook libby awake from next to me.

"libs." i shook her a few times before she groaned slightly and looked up towards me, sleepy innocence soaking her persona.

"g'morning." she yawned. i moved my hand towards her face and caressed it softly, she settled her face further into my hand.

"we have arrived at our destination."

a tired giggle left her lips which drew a close lipped smile to mine. reaching out of the door with her eyes still closed, she wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me in towards her, my own arms settled around her waist. swaying peacefully in each others presence with the soft crashing of waves hitting the stones behind us.

it was still dark, well it was the hours of tranquillity where the sun had not yet parted into the sky, but darkness had not smothered our side of the terrestrial world.

i was running my fingers through the ends of her blonde hair with the small hymns of contentment left her physical being.

"let me take a picture of you." i smiled into the top of her head, pulling away and moving to the back seats of my car- where her bag sat smugly on the leather seats.

the off white polaroid camera sat comfortably in my hands while i held the viewfinder up my my eye. aligning my slight with the cameras.

libby looked ethereal, the blueish tint of the moonlight stained her skin slightly, yet the warm glow of the inner car lights over powered the blue with a soft yellow. she was leaning against the side of the seat, a dazed smile pulled on her face, her eyes gently closed.
