My family and I took catch a plane and we flew back home to Los Angeles. But Katie and Josie took a separate plane to get back to Dallas, in time for another year in college.
On my way home, I was thinking about Grayson and I'm so excited to come home and see him again. After a 14 hour flight, my family and I have finally landed back in Los Angeles.
We took a taxi back home and once we arrived back to our house, I help my parents and Lyla with the bags. "Girls, why don't you bring your bags inside first? Your mom and I will take care of the rest.", Dad replied.
"You sure, Dad?", I asked. "Yes, we'll be ok, and it's almost dinner time anyways.", Dad smiled. "Ok, want me to order some takeaway?", I asked. "Sure.", Dad replied. "Can we have pizza?", Lyla asked. "Yeah, sure.", Mom smiled. "I'll call the pizza place.", Lyla replied, as she and I ran back into the house with our bags.
As Lyla and I went inside, a voice called out to me. "Hi, Mia.", the voice called out. Lyla and I turned around and it was Grayson, standing there with a bouquet of pink roses, in his hand. "Grayson!", Lyla cried, as she rans and hugs him, which took him by surprise.
"Oh!", Grayson laughed, hugging Lyla back. "Hey, Ly-Ly!", Grayson smiled, pulling one rose from the bouquet and offers it to her. "This is for you.", Grayson replied, giving her the single rose. "Thank you so much. I'm gonna go and order some pizza.", Lyla replied, as she leaves.
"Hey...", Grayson smiled, as I ran up to him and kisses him unexpectedly. "Hi.", I sighed with a smile. "Hey.", Grayson whispered. "I missed you.", I replied with a smile. "I miss you too.", Grayson smiled, as I give him multiple kisses.
Grayson stayed at my house for dinner as we all enjoyed pizza on our first night back home. After having pizza, my parents and Lyla went to bed, while Grayson and I stayed downstairs to watch a movie, and of course giving him gifts and souvenirs that I bought in Australia.
Grayson is so excited when he opened all of his gifts. "I love them all, thank you.", Grayson sighed, as he kisses me. We then watch a rom-com until it was late at night. I was sleeping on Grayson's lap, and he turns the TV off after he saw me sleeping. "What are you doing?", I asked.
"Turning off the TV.", Grayson replied. "Why?", I asked. "Because you were sleeping.", Grayson smiled. "True.", I replied with a yawn. As I sat up, my eyes were drowsy and I did a massive stretch. "What time is it?", I asked. Grayson turns on his phone and looks at the time.
"11:30pm.", Grayson sighed. This shock me. "11:30 already?!", I asked. "Yeah?", Grayson replied. "You better get home babe!", I cried. "Why? It's not like I have anything tomorrow.", Grayson laughed. "No, but your mother will be wondering why you're not back home yet.", I replied.
"Alright, calm down.", Grayson sighed, as he sat up to put on his shoes. "You're ready, Gray?", I asked. "Yeah I am, unless you give me a goodnight kiss first.", Grayson smiled. I lean in and kiss him goodnight before I escorted him out of the door.
I stood by the front door, as Grayson on his motorcycle. He waves me goodbye and rode off, as I watch him leave my street. I return back to my bedroom, and recheck the result about me getting into Yale, but when I refresh the website again, it still says "pending", I let out a huge sigh.
So tired and still jet-lack from my flight, I went to bed and hoping that the results of getting into Yale, will be accepted.
