"wilbur!" river ran to her best friend as soon as she saw him in the semi-empty airport. he welcomed her with open arms, huge open arms.
"why do you have to be so tall. i feel like a midget." she pouted as she looked up at the VERY tall man infront of her. now, river wasnt short, but she wasnt exactly tall, and lets just be honest here, wilbur is a fucking giant. he just laughed at her which caused her to pout even more
river had just gotten to brighton and already was feeling 10x better, not completely better, but still better. her plane ride consisted of sleep, eating, watching sad movies that made her cry, yelling at the kid behind her kept kicking her chair, and crying at the thought of what karl could be doing at that moment.
speaking of karl, he shouldve gotten home, while river was on the plane. she knew he would blow up her phone as soon as he realized she was gone, so she turned off her phone off for the entire flight. but because she needed to know where wilbur was, she turned it on once the plane landed. and now her phone was blowing up with notifications due to the messages only going through now.

"huh? what? im perfectly fine! why?"
"river, well for one your crying, two, your phone is blowing up with messages and your frantically typing. i assume its karl?" he gave her a knowing look.
"yeah. he was messaging me during my flight and i just answered. now hes texting me again." she rolled her eyes before sighing.
"ok. first. block him. so you dont have to deal with him. second. c'mon, lets go home." he put his hand out for her to grab. river nodded and blocked karl before she reached out and grabbed wiburs hand and let him lead the way.

hehe its finally getting to the good part of the plot !! and yes its shorter then the last few chapters, but im very tired while writing this so... but have a good day or night! i love you <3
