The Skrill’s P.O.V
I was sitting outside, waiting for the girl to come back. She left only a few minutes ago, but it felt like forever. I wasn’t used to sitting around, doing nothing. I couldn’t even walk around because of my leg feeling like it was on fire.

I was so busy thinking about how bored I was, that I didn't notice the girl coming back with fish and some other stuff.

“Hey, I’m back,” She said, walking in front of my head.

I started sniffing, smelling the fish, and tried to move forward. She laughed and put the fish in front of my head. I immediately dug my nose into it. With my head thoroughly in the fish, I barely saw the girl making her way around me and over to my leg.

The next thing I heard was, “This might sting.” before something wet was poured onto the spot the arrows were.

She was right, that did sting.

  “Ow!” I yelled.

“Shhh! My sisters are still sleeping!” She told me.

That made me stop. Sisters? I turned my head and asked, “Where are they?”

I knew humans can’t understand dragons, but she was seriously making me question whether or not that was true when she answered, “They’re inside, and they’re sleeping. I can’t let them know you’re here.”

  “Why?”

She sighed and continued wrapping my leg in a bandage. “Bella’s not the best at keeping secrets, and Naomi… she just wouldn’t be good in this situation. She would probably try to ride you.”

  I snorted. Yeah. Not happening

She walked back around to my head. She bent down and started scratching me, which I had to admit, did feel pretty good.

“I never told you my name, did I?” She asked. I shook my head. “Well in that case, my name’s Andriette, but people call me Andi.”

Andriette. I made sure to burn that name in my memory.

“Do you have a name?” She asked, continuing to scratch my head.

I thought for a while. I never had a family, so I don't think anyone ever named me.

Humans and dragons alike just called me “The Skrill” whenever I was near. I shook my head “no”.

Andriette was quiet for a while before speaking, “How about ‘Arrow’? For a name, I mean.”

Arrow… I like that. I nodded and Andriette smiled. She hugged me again and I leaned into the hug.

Maybe I finally have a family.

Okay, okay, I know this is cringey. Cringey. As. Heck. Also, short as heck. I promise (maybe) the chapters will get longer. But hey, Andriette has a dragon and he has a name! Hope you liked this bit from Arrow's P.O.V. Bye bye! Origin out!
