Chapter 1: Don't leave...

"NATSU NO!" Lucy yelled.

Natsu smiled, "I'm sorry, Luce. It's the only way. Remember this, please move on. I don't want you to live in sadness. Thank you for everything, Luce. I loved you since the first time I met you. Bye."

"NOOOOOOO!!!!!" Lucy thrust her hand out to Natsu, and they were about to touch until he disappeared. She sat down in shock, her eyes still wide, and cried.

"Natsu... Please come back. I love you too. Please! Please..." she then fell asleep.

The next morning, Erza and Gray found her by a tree. They shook her awake.

"Lucy? Are you ok? Where's Natsu?" Gray asked. Lucy's eyes got wide and watery.

"I-I'm sorry. It should have been me. I'm so weak." Lucy cried.

"What. Happened. To. Natsu." Erza demanded.

Lucy looked up at her with tears streaming down her face and said, "H-He's dead."

Erza sat down and hugged Lucy with a shadow covering her eyes. "Did he say anything else?"

Lucy nodded, "He said to move on. For no one to be sad. H-He also said he loved me."

Gray put his hand on hers. "Yeah, I don't think he will want you to be sad. Smile and laugh for him." Lucy looked up at Gray, and saw he had teary eyes as well.
