Chapter 15: Fire

"Oi, Lucy!" Natsu called out.

"Yes?" Lucy asked.

"When we get to the deep part of the cave, I can't help you!" Natsu yelled.

"Ok," Lucy replied. She touched the twinkling crystals along the cave walls. Rainbow gems graced the cave walls with their presence.

"Hey, Lucy! It's getting late! We should set up camp outside the cave!" Natsu said.

"Fine. We already checked out the cave anyway," Lucy agreed. They got out of the cave and sat down on the soft meadow grass. Natsu took out a blanket and laid it on the floor. Natsu, Lucy, and Happy got comfortable.

"Good Night, Lucy," Natsu whispered. She snuggled in, and felt Natsu's body heat radiate to her.

"Goodnight, Natsu," Natsu closed his eyes and Lucy kissed his forehead. Natsu smiled. Lucy then closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Natsu then, had a nightmare. He was in the cave, and Lucy was walking in front of him. Suddenly, a monster came out and stabbed her in the stomach. Natsu saw himself run to her and cry. She whispered some words that were inaudible, and she turned into glitter. He woke up with a scream.

"Lucy? Are you ok?!" Natsu yelled.

"I'm fine! You set the blanket on fire!" She pointed at the blanket which was up in flames. She opened her water bottle from her backpack, and said, "Open! Gate of the Water Bearer! Aquarius!"

"Tch!" She grabbed her vase and poured water all over the blanket.

"Arigato! Aquarius!" She bowed.

"Don't summon me for two weeks. I'n going on a date with my boyfriend. My boyfriend!

"I know!" Lucy yelled. Aquarius then disappeared into shimmering dust. "It's still dark out, let's go back to sleep," Lucy suggested.

They all laid down on the grass and fell asleep. Lucy was shivering. Natsu put his arms around her waist, and warmed her up. She stopped shivering. Then, they all fell asleep.

They woke up the next morning with the sound of chirping birds. Happy was eating a fish.

"Happy? Where did you get the fish?" Lucy asked, rubbing her eyes.

"Over there! Where the first is, there is a lake!" Happy pointed towards the forest of pink trees.

"Do you mean cherry blossoms?" Lucy said.

"I guess," Happy shrugged.

"Ha! They're the color of your hair, Natsu!" Lucy teased.

"Well, your hair is the color of piss," Natsu grumbled.

"Hey! It was only a joke," Lucy stood up and left towards the Cherry Blossom forest.

An hour later, Lucy didn't return. He left to go look for her. Once he entered the forest, the fragrant smell of cherry blossoms invaded his nose.

"Lucy? Look I'm sorry! I shouldn't have said that!" Natsu yelled out, hoping for Lucy to reappear. He found her behind a tree, making a crown of cherry blossoms.

"There!" She said in pride, "So Natsu will forgive me!"
