Chapter 20: Fight

I stood in shock as I heard what the Celestial Spirit King said.

"T-This is a joke, right?" I stammered.

"You have to prove your worth," he said.

After Natsu hit Happy, I yelled at him, "Natsu! What do you think you're doing?!" I ran towards him but he kicked me in the stomach. I fell on the floor and coughed.

Natsu quickly came towards me. The look in his eyes looked like he wanted to kill.

I looked up in fear. "N-Natsu?" I asked.

The Celestial Spirit King chuckled. "There's no use talking to him," he continued, "He can't hear anything. He is being controlled,"

My heart was beating fast. Beads of sweat trickled down my face. I ran towards Happy.

"H-Happy? Are you okay?" I asked him.

"A-Aye," he croaked.

Tears welled up in my eyes. I began to cry. Natsu was slowly approaching. I wiped my tears and stood up.

"I'm not going to let you touch Happy," I said. My voice wavered. He ran towards me and punched me. My nose was broken and bleeding.

"Grrrrr," I said in pain. I got Wendy's healing spell and healed my nose. "Ice Make: Lance!" I yelled. Crystals of ice shot towards Natsu, but he burned them with his flames.

I don't know how I'll do this, I spent almost a my magic power on those monsters before, I thought.

"Requip: The Knight!" I screamed. "Circle Sword!" The swords circled all around Natsu and a big explosion happened. When the smoke cleared, Natsu was still standing, and the swords all around him were melted.

"How..? Requip: Fire Empress!" My armor changed into red armor with my hair into two pony tails with two swords. I charged. Natsu blasted a wave of fire at me, but I deflected it with my sword. He kept shooting fire at me, and it kept getting harder to deflect up until the point where the fire pushed me out of the air. I fell on the floor with a loud thud.

"Satan Soul: Sitiri!" My armor changed into the Satan Soul. Blue and teal stripes fell across my clothes. I sent an explosion his way, but fire protected him.

"What?! I've never seen him do that before!" I yelled.I got mad. All the training I spent trying to get here. I didn't come all this way just to get defeated by a possessed Natsu. All my nakama' time was spent trying to train me. I believed that Natsu was going to be brought back. I was not going to let it go to waste.

"STAR DRESS: AQUARIUS!" I yelled. My clothing turned into a bikini and skirt. Two half-up pigtails adorned my head. With my powers, I sent a wave of water his way. It extinguished his flames.

My Aquarius star dress disappeared. I was completely out of magic power. I layed exhausted on the floor of the cave. Natsu was on the floor. He stood.

I ran towards him. "Natsu, I-" I felt something sharp in pale me. "Wha-?" I looked down and saw a sword in my stomach. I looked up and Natsu, his red eyes were changing back to their normal color. He quickly took out the sword out of my stomach and I collapsed.

"Lucy, I! I'm really sorry! I got possessed! Why... why do you have a hole in your stomach? It's bleeding a lot! Lucy... please don't die!" Natsu cried.

"While you were possessed," I spit out blood, "You stabbed me with your sword," Natsu's eyes grew wide as he listened.

"Lucy- I am, please forgive me! I'm really sorry!" He started to cry. His tears fell on my face.

I put my hand on his cheek. I smiled weakly. "Its okay. I just wanted to let you know that, that, I love you," he then kissed me. The pain I felt went away. I soon felt bliss then nothing.

Natsu POV

"Lucy- I am, please forgive me! I'm really sorry!" I felt tears well up in my eyes. One fell on her face. She put her hand on my cheek.

She smiled. That was the very same smile I fell in love with. "It's okay. I just wanted to let you know that, that I love you,"

I kissed her and then I felt her smile. I broke the kiss and Lucy was gone. I stared at the glowing particles in disbelief. Tears streamed endlessly down my face.

"LUCY! LUCY! COME BACK! I LOVE YOU!" I screamed. Nothing replied. Just endless silence.

"Lucy?" I heard a small weak voice say. I turned around and there was my partner, Happy. "Natsu? Why are you crying?" He asked.

"I'm sorry, Happy. Lucy's gone." I said.

"Gone?" Tears fell down his face, one by one, then all at once.

"NATSU DRAGNEEL!" I heard a voice yell. I turned around and saw the Celestial Spirit King. "YOU ARE NOW A HUMAN, THANKS TO LUCY'S BRAVERY!"

There were keys on the floor. They were Lucy's. I ran towards them and hugged them. They were all that was left of Lucy. I looked in there and saw my key. It shimmered and disappeared. It was gone. I was a human once more.
