Chapter 8: Training

Lucy later started training with all her friends, so she could do the basic levels of all their magic, like Ice Make, Requip, and Take-over.

Flashback..
Lucy stood with Gray in a field.

"So you clench your fist, and put it on top of your hand. Then you say 'Ice Make' and whatever you want to make. Try it out." Gray explained.

"Ice make... Crystal butterflies! (I made it up)" Lucy yelled. Little blue butterflies floated around the air, flapping their icy wings.

-Flashback end-

Lucy thought about her time with Erza.

-Flashback-

"So, Lucy, to do Requip magic, you feel yourself connect to another dimension. Do it now." Erza commanded.

Lucy concentrated and yelled, "Requip!" She now had a sword in her hands.

"You have a lot of potential, Lucy. Good work!"

-Flashback End-

She thought about her time with Mirajane.

-flashback-

"So, Lucy, to do Take-Over, you have to imagine yourself dressed differently. For example..." Mira changed into Satan Soul.

"Try to do this," Mira showed.

Lucy furrowed her eyebrows, and concentrated. "SATAN SOUL!" She yelled.

"Good, try to shoot a plasma ball (or those purple orbs)."

Lucy tried, but collapsed.

"That was pretty good, Lucy. Keep it up!"

-Flashback end-

Lucy wanted to test her powers.

"Open! Gate of the Flames! Natsu!" Lucy yelled.

"Hey, Luce. Wait- you're not mad at me?" Natsu asked.

"No... I still am, but I wanted to ask you this... fight me, Natsu Dragneel!"

That caught Natsu totally by surprise, but grinned. "Let's go Lucy!"

"Ice Make... Hammer!" Lucy screamed. A giant hammer came towards Natsu, but he smashed it.

"Did you train with Ice Princess?" Natsu asked.

"Yea."

"Take Over: Satan Soul!" Lucy changed into her Satan soul, and threw purple orbs at Natsu. He flew past them all.

"You trained with Mira too?!?" He yelled over Lucy throwing magic at him.

Lucy smirked. "Oh, I've trained with much more. Requip!" Lucy required into The Knight armor. "Circle Sword! Dance my blades!"

Natsu could not outrun them this time. He got hit by all of them. He panted to Lucy. "You got extremely strong."

Lucy blushed and replied, "Thanks, I would not have-" Natsu turned Lucy around and kissed her.

"W-w-What was that?!" Lucy replied, her cheeks full of the color red.

Natsu smiled his toothy grin and said, "For becoming stronger."

"O-Okay..." Lucy turned the other direction, clearly embarrassed by Natsu's actions. Then, she cleared her throat and said, "Natsu, I'm doing this all for you, so please let me do this."

Natsu inhaled and said, "Okay, I know your determination cannot be broken, so I'll let you do it."

Lucy's face immediately lit up. She squeezed him as hard as she could. (Insert picture of Edo-Lucy hugging Natsu) "Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!"

After a while, Lucy continued to train until she became as strong as all the S-Class mages.

"Thank you, Natsu for supporting me, " Lucy said.
