Connor and Karl walked George back to his room after dinner, making sure he got there safely. George thanked them, and headed into his room. He walked over to a window and sat by it, staring out at the small, twinkling stars in the sky.

"You know," someone suddenly said, "This room has one of my favorite views in the whole castle."

George snapped his head behind him, looking around quickly.

"Oh, I'm so sorry," the sweet voice said, "I didn't mean to startle you, I'm the wardrobe, over here."

George stood up and walked over to the light blue wardrobe. Little golden accents on the handles and the feet of the wardrobe were very shiny, even with little light, "Hi, there."

"Hello, George," she said, "I'm Niki, I am so sorry again for surprising you."

George smiled, "It's okay, I just forgot other things can be alive. It's still all a bit new."

Niki hummed, "I understand. I was just going to ask you if you wanted something warmer to sleep in, you're a bit small, you must be freezing with just that little cloak."

"I am," George shrugged, "I wouldn't mind something a bit warmer."

The doors of the wardrobe opened quickly, and there appeared a set of warm pajamas, "Here you go, this should help with the cold, I'm sure."

"Thank you, Niki," George said, giving her a warm smile, "I appreciate it."

Niki hummed once more, "No worries, it's my job to dress you up after all!"

"Are you like, magic, or something? Or do you just hide other clothes inside there extremely well?" George questioned with a laugh.

"To this day I couldn't really tell you how I do what I do, but I do it," Niki chuckled, "I don't do much, but it's fun anyway. It's honestly nice to finally have someone to choose outfits for."

George smiled, "I'm just the person you need, normally I wear the same sweater and pants everyday. Sometimes, I would spice it up and wear a different color sweater, though."

Niki giggled, "You're funny, I'm glad to have you here. You're very nice."

"No reason for me to be mean or anything," George said, "Are people mean to you?"

Niki responded, "No, not my fellow items. Dream is just.. he's rude sometimes. Someone needs to knock some sense into that man's brain."

"Why's he so rude?"

Niki was silent for a moment, "I'm sure he'll get around to getting to know you, you'll get to know him, too. I can't really explain Dream, but surely he knows himself better than I do."

"Oh," George shrugged, "Alright, then. Thank you again, Niki. I'm going to get some sleep."

Niki hummed one last time, "Of course, George. Rest well."

George walked over to the giant bed and got himself comfortable under the covers, the pajamas made him warm, but the blankets made him even warmer. It was the first feeling of true warmth he'd felt since he left to find Sapnap back in Terraville. He drifted to sleep rather quickly, feeling comfortable. Although he was still nervous about this place, he felt as if it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

George woke up to a knocking at his room's door. He carefully hopped off of the warm bed and made his way to the door, he opened it, revealing Dream.

"Hey," Dream greeted.

George gulped, "Hi.."

Dream stood up more straight, looking down at the boy, "I came to let you know that you're to have dinner with me tonight."
