George woke up still feeling a bit tired, but he really didn't care. He was excited to spend yet another day with Dream. He felt like a hypocrite, doing the same thing everyday, and enjoying it, when he used to constantly complain about repeating days when he were one in Terraville.

However, when he was with Dream, he seemed to forget that all they did was read books and had dinner or breakfast together. Dream was interesting, he had stories to tell, and he was so excited to learn with George. George was equally as excited to teach him.

After getting dressed, George walked down to the main hall, finding Dream sitting on one of the chairs.

"Hi, you," Dream greeted, closing the same old chapter book, "Good morning."

"Good morning," George sat next to him, "Have you progressed with the book?"

"I have!"

"How far in are you?"

"Halfway," Dream smiled, "I can read everything out loud until chapter 12."

"Dream!" George gasped happily, "I'm so proud of you, you've done so well!"

"Thanks," Dream laughed, "I really like this book."

George nodded, "Me too. When I read through it, I thought you would like it."

"The part where they're learning ballroom dancing is funny," Dream spoke, "They're doing it all wrong."

"You know how to ballroom dance?"

"I grew up a prince, of course I do," Dream explained, "It's been forced into my brain."

"Is it fun?" asked George.

"Depends," Dream shrugged, "If you're dancing with someone you wanna be dancing with, yes. If not, it's stupid."

George nodded, "I can't dance to save my life, so regardless of who you dance with, I'd be impressed."

"Come on, now," Dream grinned, "Anyone can dance."

"Not me, trust me," laughed George, "I've got two left feet."

"Can I teach you?" Dream perked up, "Just, 'cause, ya know.. you taught me to read, maybe I could teach you to dance."

George smiled widely, "You'd teach me to dance?"

"Absolutely!" Dream stood up, extending his hand. He pulled George out of the chair and spun him around, "Let's have an unofficial ball tonight!"

"An unofficial ball?"

"It's like a real ball, except it's kinda just us because, I mean," Dream motioned around the castle, "It literally is just us."

"The items," George said, "Can they come?"

"Sure, if they want to," Dream responded, "Wilbur and Quackity love singing, and Karl used to always be dancing, I'm sure they would."

This made George happy, "This'll be fun, I've never been to a ball before."

"What do you mean?!" Dream questioned, "Terraville has a ballroom if I remember correctly."

"Dream," George calmly said, "Do you forget that I only ever spoke to maybe two or three people in that town? I never get out much."

"Right, right," Dream shifted, "That's okay, though. People aren't my thing either."

George shrugged, "Who needs people when you have.. a castle and a Dream?"

Dream let out a wheeze, "Come on, now!"

The two laughed at joked all the way towards the dining room to have breakfast together. George was excited to learn to dance, but he was also extremely nervous.
