Just before sunrise, Sapnap woke up. Excitedly pulling himself out of his warm bed into the confusingly chilly weather, he grabbed what he prepared the day before for his journey to Mr. Phils secret nether portal. He could still hear silent groans of zombies roaming around the woods behind his and George's home. He grabbed his newest, most strongest axe from his table, he'd have to quickly go to the community enchanting room in Terraville before he left.

He placed his food and other tools into his satchel. Sapnap quietly peeked into George's room, where he saw his best friend sleeping rather peacefully. He sighed. George meant a lot to him, and he knew he meant a lot to George. He couldn't mess up this mission. The netherite material could get Sapnap enough money and protection to be able to safely travel away from here with George. He knew George wanted to get away, admittedly so did he.

Closing George's door quietly, he made his way out. Grabbing his horse dressed in shimmering diamond armor, he walked to the enchanting room. He opened the door and turned quickly to close it.

"Oh," a small voice said, "Hello, Sapnap."

Sapnap jolted, not expecting anyone in the village to be awake at this ungodly hour. He turned back towards the room, seeing a young villager who called himself Ranboo. He was about the same age as Tommy and Tubbo, but he was a bit different, as he was half enderman. This side of him made him the tallest in the village. Being half monster, you'd expect Ranboo to be rather aggressive, but everyone knew him to be the kindest young man of the village. Despite his memory issues, nobody seemed to see a problem with the boy.

"Ranboo," Sapnap smiled, "Good morning."

Ranboo smiled back, "You're out and about early, any reason? Not trying to intrude, or anything. Just curious."

"No worries," Sapnap said sitting on the chair next to the obsidian enchanting table, "I just need to enchant my axe before heading out."

"Where are you headed?" Ranboo said, pulling out some lapis from a drawer, handing it to Sapnap.

"Thanks," said Sapnap, taking the lapis, "I'm headed to Mr. Phils nether portal. It's a long way, gotta get on the road early. I'd rather not have to be out there all night long."

Ranboo hummed, "Understandable. Monsters and stuff."

"Yeah," Sapnap said, putting his second enchantment onto the axe, "And what about you? Any reason you're here?"

"It started to rain last night," Ranboo sighed, "Wouldn't have made it home in time without being hurt by the water. I just came in here."

Sapnap frowned, remembering enderman are hurt by water, "You should've rang for someone. I would've come and helped you home, man."

Ranboo shrugged, "It's fine, really. It was late anyway, plus it's kinda cozy in here."

Sapnap couldn't help but agree, "But, hey, next time, let me know. Maybe try carrying an umbrella with you on your tool belt, might come in handy!"

Ranboo grinned, "Not a bad idea, Sapnap. I'll ask Tubbo for one, I'm sure he's got some made."

Sapnap placed the remaining lapis down into the same drawer Ranboo took it from, gazing at his fully enchanted diamond axe. It was perfect, and would serve him very well. Ranboo looked over.

"That looks neat, Sapnap."

"Thanks, kid," Sapnap smiled happily, "I've got to be on my way now. It's not raining out there, so I'd recommend you go home and get some proper rest."
