George turned around, and gasped.

A tall, masked man. He towered over both George and Sapnap. He wore a torn, dark green cloak that appeared dark yellow to George. His skin was insanely pale, literally white. Under the cloak seemed to be long pants and a torn shirt. George couldn't move.

"Who," George stumbled with his words, "Who are you?"

The tall man chuckled to himself, "Wouldn't the person who broke into my castle wanna know, huh?!"

His voice was booming, it echoed throughout the small room of the tall tower they all stood within. The cloaked man reached out his arm, grabbing George's shoulder as he gripped it tightly.

"Don't you dare touch him," Sapnap growled, "Get your filthy hands off of him!"

George still stood, petrified, "It's fine, Sap."

The pale skinned figure pushed George over to the side, "Leave at once. I'll be nice and not imprison you too, it's funnier you'll have to live with the pain of knowing you couldn't rescue your friend."

"Are you crazy?" George huffed, "Let him out of there, I'm not leaving until he's free, too."

The man stared down at him, "Then you won't be leaving either. Leave, be free, take advantage of me being nice for once."

George looked over to Sapnap, "Sappy.."

"Go, Georgie," Sapnap said, "You gave up everything for me, let me finally do something for you. I'll be okay."

George saw the glisten of tears forming in his best friends eyes. The eyes of the boy he helped become a talented young man. The boy who he lived with. The boy who protected him. Sapnap meant so much to George, he couldn't just leave the boy who was like a brother to him trapped in a freezing castle, with a crazy man, for who knows how long.

"I'll leave," George looked up at the man.

He motioned his hand towards the door, his green sleeves flowing along with it, "Well? You know where the door is."

"Are you not going to let me say goodbye to the only family I have?" George asked.

The figure looked back down at George, then to Sapnap stuck inside the cell, "What?"

"Well, I doubt you'd understand, but I care about people," George sneered, "Can I just say goodbye? Let me give him a hug?

After standing there, seemingly pondering for a few moments, the masked man pulled out a key and walked to the cell door, opening it, "Fine."

George practically ran into the open arms of his best friend. Sapnap wrapped his arms around George, holding him tighter than he ever had before. Sapnap felt tears slip through his eyes, he would never get to keep George safe again. He'd never be able to get George out of the town he's felt trapped inside for so long.

"I love you, George," Sapnap whispered to him, "It'll be okay, you'll be okay."

George sniffed through his own tears, "Sap?"

Sapnap hummed, awaiting his best friend's response.

"Keep making me proud out there," George sighed, "I'm sorry."

George turned Sapnap around in the hug, and shoved him out of the cell, closing the door immediately.

    "George?!"

George forced a small smile, "Go home, Sap. I love you, too."

Sapnap stared at his friend, "George, you can't be serious."
