"Dream, are you okay?!" George quickly shook his head in annoyance with himself, "Stupid question, clearly you aren't, my god, Dream."

Dream's voice was hoarse, "I'm so happy to see you."

"Dream, you're-"

"I know," Dream said, "Dying. Oh well, everyone dies eventually."

George felt tears drip down his face, "No, no. Not you, not yet, Dream. Please, can you stay awake?!"

"Georgie," Dream's hand finally found George's, he gripped it with what remaining strength he had, "It's okay."

"No, no it's not okay!" George cried, "You can't leave me now, you- you can't!"

11:57 pm

"I'm about to be stuck a monster for eternity," Dream explained softly, "I'll never be normal, I'd rather be dead."

"Don't say that," George frowned, "You're not a monster..."

Dream sniffed, as a tear started rolling down his face. He couldn't breathe with his mask on, "George, ca- can you take off this mask, please?"

"Your mask?"

"Yeah..."

George was hesitant, knowing Dream was very secure about always having his mask cover his face. George only knew his face as a glitch, which was all Dream told him. Even though Dream himself asked him to take it off, he still felt bad for invading his boundaries.

George slowly pulled the mask off of Dream's face, revealing nothing to what George expected. His face fit Dream's description well, being basically pure white, but black, green, purple, and yellow glitches constantly spread across it. You could faintly see the outline of a humans face passed the deformation, but George didn't find it weird.

That was face of Dream.

The face of who he loved.

"Sorry you have to see this, I-"

"Don't you dare apologize," scolded George. George sniffed, whipping a tear off of Dream's face, "Look at you. So unique, and cool."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah..."

At this moment, the room before the balcony was filled with the people of Terraville who had came with Schlatt, watching the terrifying scene in front of them, including Sapnap, who was stubborn, and came into the castle despite what George told him.

It was weird to them, seeing George, who was always so quiet, and laid back, be so different.

In the front of the villagers, stood every item besides Niki, who has always been bound to one room her whole experience as a dresser.

Wilbur, Fundy, Connor, Quackity, and Karl, were standing in the front, heartbroken.

11:58 pm

"The hourglass has one grain of sand, George," coughed Dream, "I won't be able to be normal for you."

"Normal? For me?" George puffed out a laugh, "Dream, you could be an alien from Mars and my thoughts on you wouldn't change, just hold on, please."

"George?" Dream weakly said.

"Hm?"

"Have I ever told you how pretty you are?"
