"Phil!" George cried, running towards the doors. Phil enveloped the younger man in his arms. Phil was fond of George, he was one of his favorite people of the village he had help raise. He valued George's determination, smarts, and kindness.

Phil had lived in Terraville the longest, and had welcomed anyone and everyone into the town happily. He was funny, and could always make others crack a laugh. Phil was great at helping blueprint new buildings, working out optimal tools, but above all, always knew everything. How he knew things? Nobody could explain this, but not many people questioned it, because Phil was Phil.

"Hey, there," Phil smiled with a nod, "Sorry it took me a while to get this door unlocked."

Phil pulled out two sets of keys, which each having at least fifty keys strung onto them, "I forgot which one it was!"

The three of them laughed.

"How'd you know we were in here?" asked Sapnap.

Phil patted Sapnap's shoulder, "Schlatt's rather loud, isn't he? I live above the community house, walls are thin."

"Ohh," George said, "Should've remembered that."

"So," Phil began, "What're you waiting for, George. Go save Dream."

"You know Dream?"

"Course I know Dream," Phil responded, "I haven't seen him in years, though."

George had knew that Niki, Wilbur, and Fundy knew Mr. Phil, but he was happily shocked to learn that Phil knew Dream.

Niki's voice popped into George's head, telling him to let Wilbur and Fundy know about Phil.

"Phil," George smiled, "Wilbur and Fundy are okay."

Phil paused, looking straight at George, "Are they?"

"So is Niki," George said, "And Karl, and Quackity, and Connor!"

"Go get them," said Phil, his voice serious, "Don't let them kill Dream, you hear?"

George nodded, "I won't."

Phil looked to Sapnap, "Listen to George, okay, Sap?"

"Yes, sir!" Sapnap exclaimed.

With another nod from Phil, George and Sapnap ran to the house just next door to the community house, hopping onto a horse that was owned by Eret.

"George!" called out Phil before they began riding off.

George turned his head, looking to Phil, "Yes?"

"Break that curse."

George pursed his lips, before softly smiling. He nodded, "I'll try."

With that, the two best friends were off.

They rode through the woods, dodging monsters as the horse flew in the direction of the castle. When light snow began falling around them, they knew they were close. The middle of the fork in the road might as well be a road itself, as footprints of many people, and horses, started showing more dirt than snow.
