Welp... And So It Begins. [Noon of Day One]

(And Then There Were Ten)
"Pfff- You're sharing a room with who now?"
Virginia had to hold in another laugh when he heard England's audible groan. "France, that Pepé Le Peu-kinning bastard... How on Earth we got paired for a room together I will never understand."
"He can't be that bad, can he?", the shorter male asked, despite knowing full well of the two's rivalry.
"All that twit can do is flirt, flaunt himself, drink wine, and do that obnoxious laugh of his. He's good for nothing."
"He can be nice though..."
The new voice caused the other two to jump ten feet and whip their heads to their right, but calmed down when they realised it was just another state. The boy who spoke was a quieter and shorter version of Massachusetts, minus the longer hair and thick eyebrows, adding the fact that this one had a bandage plastered across the bridge of his nose.
"Sorry for scaring you all, I just couldn't help but input something to your conversation..." His head lowered a bit, gaze falling to his feet.
"Oh, that's quite alright", England spoke politely (out of fear of causing new enemies), "We just hadn't noticed you at all before. It reminds me of another country, though I keep forgetting his name-"
"Uncle Canada?" The boy's peridot eyes lit up for a split second, both at the mention of him and the realisation that he was here too. "I-I mean, yeah, I know him... I'm Maine, by the way, another one of America's states."
"That's right! No wonder you looked so familiar, you're Massachusetts' brother! You used to be around him a lot when you both were younger." England looked proud of himself for remembering correctly, meanwhile unintentionally causing Virginia to deadpan and mentally ask himself how he "hadn't been recognised as easily as Maine had".
"Yeah, th-that's right. Speaking of, I wouldn't be around him so much if I were you, he-"
"-still wishes I were dead? "
"I was gonna say 'holds a mildly unfavourable grudge against you at the moment', but that's a slightly hyperbolic way to say it..."
England couldn't help but let out a sigh just thinking about it. "Well, consider that feeling mutual then. I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of the colonies still hated me."
Virginia coughed a little, then spoke, "Um, actually, I wouldn't say that I hate you-"
"You don't?!", England nearly yelled, ignoring the eyes of some others suddenly on him. He looked elated for a split second before his tsundere persona activated, and his expression returned to normal as his head turned away from the state. "I mean, so what if you don't? I-it's not like I care anyways."
Maine was oblivious to his act, although Virginia had to hold in a little smirk he felt was growing. "So, would you also not care to know that two other states are okay with you too?"
"Yes! ...But it would be nice to know who's learned to get over a grudge...", the nation replied with an unnoticed blush, glancing back at the Old Dominion again, who seemed mildly satisfied with his reaction.
"Well, all I know is that Georgia and New Hampshire are fine with you. The ones that I know definitely hate you still are New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Maryland, North Carolina, and Rhode Island. As for the others... I don't know for certain."
