Chapter 18: Our Golden Rooms!

Me: Oh My Wow! This place is huge!

Yuno: *smiles* You sound like Asta.

Me: I can't help it! The Golden Dawn's base is a literal castle!

Captain Vangeance: *warmly smiles* I'm so pleased to know you enjoy it.

Captain Vangeance began walking towards the building as we followed behind. I was looking around in total "awe" while Yuno was looking ahead with the same-ol' "stoic" expression. We walked through a beautiful garden full of different kinds of plants, flowers, vines, etc; I couldn't help but daydream about being here for days on in. Captain Vangeance randomly grabbed a white rose and tugged it out of its place while Yuno and I looked at him confused. He turned to us with such a pure smile and said,

Captain Vangeance: A white rose...they have such a significant meaning to us humans. Some say it represents purity. Others speak of it and suggest it means a celebration or graduation. But for us 3, *hands me rose*, it shall represent hope, love, respect, devotion, and the pureness within your hearts.

Me: Oh wow, thank you so much Captain. This really means a lot to us.

Yuno: Yeah, thank you.

Captain Vangeance: Of course. Shall we continue?

We nodded and followed our Captain. We began to enter an area that was within the outside of the building. The courtyard shone brightly with the moon's rays revealing such a mesmerizing sight. A working fountain stood in the middle of the courtyard allowing clear water to flow within it.

[The base was a dream! I can only imagine being here, walking at night with Yuno. Finally confessing my love to him......Just So He Can Reject Me And I End Up Heartbroken! *dramatic comical cry*]

I covered my face which only brought Yuno's attention towards me. Yuno looked at me confused while my mind kept giving me horrible scenarios of how Yuno would reject me.

{If anyone saw my thoughts, they would probably think the images were funny to watch.}

We finally got to the entrance of the base while Captain Vangeance turned to us and said,

Captain Vangeance: Behind these two large doors are your fellow magic knight comrades awaiting your arrival.

I got excited and anticipated the next few moments. The doors opened in front of us and a bright yellow light covered our existence. The Golden Dawn mages were scattered around the room enjoying a nice drink in one hand as they spoke conversation with the other hand for "hand gestures". They snacked on the food that lay on the tables, laughed among themselves, and overall, just enjoyed the night. Captain Vangeance loudly clapped his hands to get everyone's full attention. Within seconds, everyone turned to us and awaited the Captain's words.

Captain Vangeance: Good evening everyone! Might I ask, where is Mimosa Vermillion?

Within moments, a very cute and gentle voice was heard from the far side of the left room. We looked to see a young girl about our age come up from a group of magic knights. She had "vermilion" colored hair with big green round eyes. Her appearance was very "doll like" in my eyes. She scurried over while raising her hand.

Mimosa: Here, Captain!

As she got closer, I noticed she wasn't that tall because she was a little shorter than I was. Mimosa smiled sweetly towards Yuno and I which made me return the same smile. Yuno didn't do anything and just stood there in silence. She stood next to me as we awaited for Captain Vangeance to speak.

Captain Vangeance: Everyone, I would like you to meet our new recruits. This is Yuno, Vanellope, and Mimosa. Welcome them warmly into our squad as they will be fighting along side you from here on out.
