The rainforest was a lush green blur while we were flying in Trudy's helicopter. I stared in awe at the scenery and the creatures flying over the crystal clear blue waters. I reached out to touch one, which nuzzled against my hand before flying off to catch up with the rest of its family. "If you get bitten by those things, I'm not paying for your hospital bill!" Grace warned over the loudness of the helicopter engine.

I smirked playfully. "Don't worry, they're friendly!" I playfully reassured her, slipping my torso and head back into the helicopter, but letting my legs dangle over the edge. I felt water tickle my toes slightly as we neared a waterfall, and I felt the mist wash over my face. I smiled. "Yeah, well, they happen to be one of the top predators here, beside ikrans." Grace retorted, pulling the rest of me by my tswin into the helicopter. I pouted and she sent me a stern, motherly glare, which reminded me of how I had to stay alive and not get ahead of myself, so I shot an apologetic smile, which she rolled her eyes playfully at. "Touching down in 15. Prepare to exit. Keep all arms and legs in the vehicle at all times!" Trudy called from the cockpit, her voice slightly muffled from the exopack she was wearing. I chuckled and moved towards the middle of the helicopter as Trudy lowered the helicopter and touched down onto the leafy green forest floor of a clearing. "Alright people, let's move it!" Grace called, and I grabbed my backpack, slinging it over my shoulder and stepping out of the helicopter, relishing the feeling of the leafy grass on my bare toes while trying to block out the sound of the helicopter blades.

"Shut it down, we're staying a while!" Grace yelled to Trudy, who nodded and gave her a thumbs up, shutting down the huge helicarrier. I inhaled the beautifully fresh Pandorian air, my lungs practically singing with praise of the finally fresh air. Pandora's oxygen, if you could even call it that, might be toxic to humans, but to the avatars and the natives, it was as fresh as the air was back on earth hundreds of years ago, before the smog overruled it and the ozone began to crumble and fall. I looked up to the canopy hundreds of miles above, the lush greens, pinks, and the occasional blue and purples sticking out like a sore thumb against the light turquoise sky. "Stunning, isn't it?" Grace breathed, coming up next to me with a wide grin stretched across her face, causing me to jump slightly. "Jesus Christ Grace, you gave me a heart attack!" I yelped, smacking her lightly with my tail. Grace eyerolled just as Norm and Jake caught up. "Stay with the ship, one idiot with a gun is enough." Grace ordered Wainfleet (the only other human besides Trudy here), shooting a glare at Jake. Jake let out a slightly offended noise on behalf of himself, which Grace sent him a deadpan stare in return, causing him to step back slightly. Wainfleet eyerolled. "You're the man, doc." He droned boredly before retreating to the helicarrier. And then we entered the forest.
