You can listen to the song while reading the chapter! It's a fun thing to do actually.

Rani raced towards the sound and found that the Night Pride was already there. Makucha and his team were trying to stop two lions from entering the Tree of Life.

"STOP THIS COMMOTION RIGHT NOW, MAKUCHA!" Rani screamed over the commotion.

Everyone looked at Rani and Makucha smirked. The Night Pride chased behind the leopards and Komodo dragon.

"Well, that was easy," Baliyo remarked.

Rani had her attention on the two lions. One was a male and the other was a female. "Who are you?"

"My name is Kakamavu," the male lion introduced himself.

The female lion said, "I'm Maana. And we were just trying to get to the Tree of Life because we need shelter. Our home was destroyed."

"Hi Maana, Kakamavu! My name is Rani. I'm so sorry to hear that. You are welcome at the Tree of Life for as long as you want. All you need to do is follow the rules. Surak will tell you the rules once you get comfortable." Rani gestured to Surak with her chin.

"HEY GUYS!" Bunga waved his hands around, signaling they had arrived.

Rani sighed, "Where were you?"

"Sorry, we were at the Artic Habitat because the penguins needed help on their ice slide," Fuli rolled her eyes, "What happened?"

"Makucha and his team were trying to stop these lions from coming to the Tree of Life. We stopped them."

"Okay," Bunga shrugged and turned to walk back towards the Arctic Habitat. "It's really fun sliding on the ice slide! Especially where you fall in the water! Right, Fuli?"

"No. Me and water don't go along together, Bunga," Fuli replied, still mad that Bunga had splashed the cold arctic water all over her nice, warm, dry, skin.

"Oops!" The honey badger shrugged and ran off to play on the ice slide again with Beshte.

Anga and Fuli flew/ran off to the Forest of Courage. They loved playing hide and seek in there. And Ono went with Makini to the Hill of Power.

Kakamavu gestured for Rani to follow him. So she did. Maana headed towards the Lake of Reflections, where Kion was.

Rani didn't notice however, and followed Kakamavu to a private hillside. "What are you doing?" Kakamavu smirked and sat down.

"Do you have someone you love?" His voice sounded like nails on a chalkboard.

Rani stared at him in surprise. "Y-yes. But I don't know if he loves me back."

"Tell me his name."

"No!"

"Fine, at least tell me what he looks like? C'mon, Rani. I'm your friend."

"Fine." Rani didn't want to give too much away because she didn't trust him that much. "He is fierce and adorable at the same time. He's a teenager, just like me. And he's caring. That's all I can tell you." She actually had a zillion more nice things to say about Kion, but she wouldn't, since Kakamavu seemed suspicious.

"Oh," Kakamavu smirked, "do you think he likes you back?"

"I don't know...I mean, he's acted as a friend to me many times but I don't think he sees me any different than a friend."

"Tell me his name, and I'll talk to him and try to get information out of him, which I'll tell you. Deal?"

"Hmmm...seems like a good plan...okay! His name is K-Kion," Rani said.

Kakamavu nodded and began searching for a lion named Kion.

Meanwhile with Maana...

Maana walked to where Kion was and sat down next to him, only to find that he was sleeping. "Hey!"

Kion awoke and found an apricot-colored lion next to him. "Hey? Who are you?"

"Relax...I'm Maana. We came to the Tree of Life to find shelter."

"But lions usually can fend for themselves! Why, can you not find your own home?"

 "I-I um..."
