Back Together Again

Omg COVID is the worst!!! *sigh* my grandfather isn't so well so, I hope you understand why I haven't been updating. Here's an update! 😄

Btw, this happens after the season 3 finale.

Kion told the plan to Rani, smirking. She laughed and picked Kion up and carried him to Queen Janna. 

"Grandmother, we will not be marrying Kakamavu and Maana," Rani announced, making Janna look at her in surprise. "Instead, Kion and I will marry. Please, the earliest you can!"

"I'm sorry, dear, but tomorrow is the date anyone can get married. Or next week."

"NO! Tomorrow is good," Kion exclaimed.

"Congratulations, guys!" Makini giggled and jumped up and down. 

Kion and Rani smiled at the enthusiastic mandrill. "Thanks, Makini!"

"Now, what about Maana and Kakamavu?" Queen Janna cocked an eyebrow perfectly.

"Ick," Rani made a face of digust. "Sentence them or execute them or something. We realized they don't love us at all. They just wanna be king and queen."

"Why didn't you do this before?" Makini frowned.

Kion sighed. "They have our friends locked up. But I have to love Maana if my friends want to stay free."

"Your Majesty!!!" Kasi, the royal baboon advisor, came rushing in. "I just saw the Lion Guard and the Night Pride locked up in a cage!"

"WHAT?!" 

(A/N: Perfect time for a cliffhanger but I'm not gonna be so mean and do that to you guys)

"I thought they said they freed them!" Rani exclaimed, realizing everything was a lie. Kasi shook his head. 

"I'm afraid not, Rani," Kasi said.

Kion clenched his jaw(or whatever you call it) and gestured for Rani to come with him. "C'mon, Rani. Let's go find Maana and Kakamavu." He spat out their names.

Rani nodded and followed him out, spotting Kakamavu by a lake. She flicked her paw to where he was standing and Kion nodded. She stomped up to Kakamavu, glaring angrily. 

"Rani? Hi!" Rani growled at how innocent he was acting. 

"Let. Our. Friends. Go," she seethed. Kakamavu's eyes blew wide open and he stammered, "What? They're free already! I told you-"

"IT WAS A LIE! We know that, Kakamavu!" She leveled her glare on his claws. Kakamavu noticed her looking and them and he quickly put them back. 

"No, it wasn't!"

"YES. IT. WAS!"

"Okay! Okay! They're in the Forest of Courage."

Kion got ready with his claws as Kakamavu got up. "You really want to fight me?"

"No! Kion, Rani, I-" Kion swiped his claws at Kakamavu's face, leaving an ugly scar just above this nose. He stepped back and let Rani do whatever she wanted. Rani dug her claws deep into Kakamavu's leg, making him scream. 

Rani hissed, "Now you feel the pain and agony I felt when you raped me?" She pulled her claws out and nodded to Kion. Kion roared a tornado and sent Kakamavu flying into a volcano that was nearby. 

"I don't think he'll survive though." Kion raised an eyebrow.

"I don't want him to." Rani shrugged. Kion licked her cheek and pressed his forehead against hers, saying, "That's my girl."

Rani laughed, "That's my man!" Kion gestured towards the direction Maana was in and she nodded. 

"Let's go." They both made their way across the lush green forest and Kion growled when he saw Maana, eating a deer. 

"Oh hi, Kion! What's Rani doing here?" 

"Let out friends go," Kion glowered.

"Oh? But I-"

"Lie, Maana. Let them go!" He swiped at her face with his claws.

"Okay, fine! They're in the Hill of Power." Maana screamed when Kion slashed at her face, leaving a mark. He roared a tornado and it swept her away into the same volcano Kakamavu was in. Kion smirked and giggled when Rani licked his cheek. 

"You're so terrifying sometimes."

"And you love me for it."

"I do." Rani giggled.
