Guys, Rani is an Indian name that means Queen; ruler, and I want you guys to pronounce it the right way. Kion does in my fic, and it makes the name sound regal and beautiful. RanEEE is how you guys pronounce it, with the emphasis going to the i at the end. Well, no. It's rAAni with the emphasis on the a. Doesn't it sound a lot more pretty? If it doesn't you can continue however you do it, but if you like it, pronounce it this way! (If I came off as rude, please don't take offense, I don't mean to offend or cause harm) |

Do you guys want me to keep commenting in the middle of the fic? Like how I used to do (i put it in parentheses and said stuff), or do you want me to be more professional and not do that. Sorry for so many notes I miss you guys and I have a lot to say :)

"Oh, they are? Well," Kion said, using his cheek to try to wipe the tears away. "Do you want me to tell you something that'll make you happy?"

"Obviously, Kion. I'm a bit sad right now because of my grandmother's death, as you can observe, and I'd like to become happy." Rani giggled at how the lion scrunched his nose and took a deep breath.

He started with a low voice that was charismatic yet charming. "You know, Rani, I saw a flower yesterday."

"So? Is there a law banning flowers that I am not aware of?"

"Let me finish. It was the most precious thing ever and held a place in my heart. That is, until I met you."

Rani whine-screams at how cheesy that was and falls on top of her adorable partner, unable to control her giggles. She starts licking his face until he stops grinning like a maniac and laughs along. Honestly, she could live forever and rot her teeth only on Kion's sugary sweet adorableness.

Kion blushed and giggled again, remembering his horrible yet very charming compliment. In his heart, the only animals he had ever made space for were obviously his parents, the Lion Guard, and Rani.

"RANI!!" Baliyo came prancing over to them and seeing how they were lying on top of each other, laughing their faces off, he took it as "Kion cheering Rani up". The sight made him smile. At least Rani would marry a lion with kindness, bravery, and happiness in his heart. Rani has rejected many depressed lions, and Baliyo thanked God for not letting his sister like any of them, for she found the perfect partner here.

"HI BALIYO!!" Rani answered with the exact same loudness and caused her brother to start smiling.

Baliyo asked, "Why are you laughing?"

"Oh, Kion told me the cheesiest thing ever and I couldn't control it," Rani explained.

"Did you forget Queen Janna? You have to become the protector and ruler of the Tree of Life now."

The smile on Rani's face was replaced with a frown. "I don't want to be queen!"

"Yes. You. Do. Rani." The rest of the Night Pride came over, with Surak being the one who spoke. 

"Alright." Rani knew it was better not to argue with Surak. She was going to lose anyway. She didn't have a stronger reason than what Surak did - to protect and rule the Tree of Life. It would fall apart if there was no queen putting them together and reminding them about the Circle of Life.
