UGH I JUST LOVE THE PICTURE ABOVE! It's my favorite picture EVER! Anyway, let's start!

"Kion, Ono, step forward," the lioness ordered. Kion and Ono did.

"I see. Ono, your healing process is simple. All you have to do is wait for the remedy, which will take a few days, and wear the remedy. But Kion, your process is a bit difficult. You have a scar and a bite. So it will take some time. Your body needs to be healed before you can heal the scar. This will take some time."

"I will wait as long as you want, Your Majesty." Kion tried to bow but he only succeeded in falling.

"Oh no, call me Queen Janna."

Rani noticed how respectful he was being, no matter how much pain he was in. It only made her admire him more. So did Queen Janna.

"Hmmm...Rani. Take Kion to a safe place to sleep. It is the middle of the night and we all must get rest. Night Pride, you can patrol for a few more hours and then get rest."

"Yes, Mother." Surak nodded and called for the rest of the pride while Rani took Kion to a place to sleep.

"R-Rani? Where are we going?" A slight stutter escaped because of the pain in his chest and back.

Rani sighed, still guilty that she hadn't been paying attention and got Kion hurt. She decided to change the topic. "So? Your name is Kion?"

"Yeah. I'm from the Pride Lands. My team is the Lion Guard," Kion groaned as she tried to place him on a smooth, flat rock carefully. "And we're the defenders of the Circle of Life."

"Oh, that's why you tried to protect our land. We're creatures as well."

"Yes. And um...Rani? I'm cold."

A cool breeze hit Kion's injury and he desperately tried to hold back his screaming. Rani noticed this and immediately covered him in a grass blanket she had found before. Kion smiled at her and her cheeks turned a little bit pink.

(A/N: Yes, they can blush. Don't hate me lol)

Rani turned to go. "Bye Kion! Sleep well."

"Rani..." He whispered. The wind whooshed away his words.

Rani walked towards the Night Pride and nodded to signal that Kion was safe and sound. "Let's patrol?"

"Sure, Rani!" Baliyo giggled and walked forward. After some time, they finished their patrol and were tired.

"Um...you guys go on. I have something to do first," Rani smiled toothily and left, leaving the rest of her team confused.

"Do you think we should follow her?" Baliyo asked.

"Of course not," Nirmala scolded, "Rani can handle herself. Besides, she'll shout for help is she's in trouble. Come on Surak, Baliyo. Let's go to sleep."

"Alright" came the replies. The Night Pride made their way into their place to get rest.

Meanwhile, Rani trotted to where Kion was sleeping. Or, she thought he was sleeping. When she got there, she saw Kion, huddled in the blanket, crying softly.

"Kion!" Her instincts to help took over and she dashed to his side. "Kion, what happened? Why are you crying?"

Kion blinked and looked up at her sadly. "I don't want to be alone..." He started sobbing again.

Rani's heart shattered into a million pieces. He doesn't want to be alone? Why? He has his friends? Then she understood. He needed someone to sit by his side, sing him songs, comfort him. Since his mother and father were back in the Pride Lands, he felt alone. And all she did was leave him in cold air with a grass blanket.

"Oh Kion..." She wiped his tears away. Kion looked at her again. "What?"

"You need someone by your side, don't you? Someone to comfort you. Someone to make you feel at home. Isn't that why you don't want to be alone?"

"H-how to do y-you know?"

"Because your mom and dad are at your home. I know, Kion. I'm not dumb." She lay down and stretched her arms toward him. "Come."

Kion dragged himself toward her and put his head in her open arms. He nuzzled against her chin, purring. Rani's heart warmed as he closed his eyes and purred softly. She poked his nose. She giggled when Kion poked her arm. They kept doing so, careful not to hurt each other.

"Okay, okay! No more poking!" Rani gave up in defeat. Kion giggled and her heart warmed again. How much more adorable could he get? It would only be a matter of time before her heart imploded.

Kion closed his eyes and nuzzled against her again. Her heart imploded out of cuteness and she giggled softly.

Suddenly, Kion pawed at his eye, trying to calm the scar. Rani realized his scar was bothering him. She remembered a time when her scar bothered her and her mother licked it. Rani had felt much better than before. "Hmmm..."

Rani asked Kion, "Close your eyes."

"Okay..."

She glided her tongue across his scarred eye. Kion's eyes shot open and he looked at her in surprise.

"My mother used to lick my scar and it used to stop bothering me for at least an hour," Rani explained. Kion blushed and recalled the fact that Rani had LICKED HIS EYE. He internally screamed out of happiness and excitement.

"Sleep with me?" Kion asked.

"Sure. By the way, thank you for saving me Kion. I don't know how can I repay you. Is there any way I can repay you?"

"By not repaying me. Rani, every creature deserves to live. Besides, it's my job to defend the Circle of Life."

"But you risked your life for me! All I did was kick you out!" Rani felt ashamed. "At least name one thing I can do to repay you? Please? I'll feel better, Kion."

"Fine. You could sleep with me?"

"Anything else? Please?"

"Uh...I don't know if you'll do this or not..." Kion's cheeks and ears turned a visible red.

"Kion! I'll do anything! Literally anything!" Rani exclaimed.

Kion blushed again. "Uh...um...you could-no I can't do it, Rani."

"Why? I'll do anything! Lion's honor!"

"Um...c-could you l-lick my s-scar again?" Kion blushed even deeper, if that was possible.
