Heyo everyone. Sorry that I didn't update sooner but I was taking some mental health time on Spring Break. I made an A03 account and am going to begin posting there as well.

Hawks POV

I don't know how to describe the sound of a ringtone. But that annoyance you feel when it goes off in the morning? Yeah, I felt that as I rolled over.

I had to blink several times before I could read the Caller ID.

"Shit-" I jump up, and hit the green button, clearing my throat.

"Heyo Endeavor, bit early isn't it?"
"It's 9 a.m. Hawks,"
Oh well,
"The hero commission had a thought, with the whole League of Villains situation," He starts, and I feel my breath catch.
"They want you to bring in Dabi, how you do that is up to you, but he's their priority."
"Don't bite my head off for asking this Endeavor, but why Dabi?"
"He's dangerous, people have seen him around acting rashly on his own, they want to know why."
Fuck.
"What are they planning on doing with him?" I ask trying to keep my voice from shaking.
"Taking him into to Tartarus, probably questioning first though, the facility keeps filling quicker than we can handle,"
"Alright Endeavor I'll handle it," I say about to hand up when his voice cuts through the line again.
"What happened with the Hunters?" And I feel my heart stop.
"What do you mean?"
"You took a patrol by their base a couple days back, what happened?"
Oh, thank the gods
"Nothing of interest Enji,"

Dabi POV

Meet me here, I've got an idea- 9:53

Why does that bird wake up so goddamn early?

I check the address in the message and lay in bed staring at my ceiling. He didn't give me a time, so technically I didn't have to show up for ten years and I'd still be following his instruction.

Now, you damn burnt ass bitch- 10:07

Asshole. I roll out of bed and grab an old jacket of mine taking the stairs two at a time.

I open the address in my phone and begin jogging. If that bird is kidding with me I'm going to burn his feathers off.

I skid on a patch of ice and have to grab onto a windowsill to catch my balance. I see the building come into view and slow myself down. Rubbing the palms of my hands together, and sparking a small flame from the friction.

I see a few people around, and it wasn't a sketchy place at all. If anything a family friendly community. The building was a town house.

Alright Hawks, I'm trusting you on this one.

I step around the backside of the yard and notice the neighbors outside comfortably. And a lady's undergarments hanging on the line. I don't think they noticed me, as the man leaned into his wife.

I looked away as he slipped his hands up the woman's shirt and knocked on the back door.

"Holy shit," I heard the neighbor choke out. And saw from the corner of my eye, as he led the woman inside after gesturing to me.

Serves them right.

Finally, I open the door and step inside to find a home.

It looked like something that could be comfortable for a small family.

"Hawks?" I call out slipping into the kitchen. Everything was silent.

Well he's fucking tricked me.

I think glancing around as I dug through drawers. If I was here might as well make it worth while.

There wasn't much though. Whoever lived here kept it bare.

I made my way to the last room in the hall. A bedroom most likely. And stopped dead in my tracks.

Lying on the ground was that stupid bird.

"Hawks!" I call rushing to his side. I collapse to my knees when I notice the wound in his side.

Dumbass.

I grab his hand checking the wrist. Thank god. I felt the thrum of his pulse. And set both of my hands on the wound. It was warm and I cringed at the way his limp body responded.

"Hawks, HAWKS-" I call trying to get a conscious reaction out of him.

"Keigo," I sigh pulling his body to me to put as much pressure on the wound as possible while looking around for something to tie it off with.

That's when I noticed the phone by his side.

Recents:

Endeavor- 10:32
Touya- 10:08

Shit. I glare down at him stepping away. The bastard had called the hero commission. He was injured, he probably wasn't thinking straight.

I turn towards the door, and it slams open in my face.

There in the doorway stands Endeavor, Number One Pro-Hero, my father.
