"Well, where are we now?" I asked.

"New Orleans. My place."

"This is your room?" I asked. I looked around, taking in the all black décor. We were sitting on a four post bed with black silk sheets and a dark grey quilt. There was one lonely chair next to the window. I walked over to it and looked out. We were in the heart of New Orleans. "Bourbon Street? Really? You couldn't have been a little less cliché?"

"Come on now. This is the liveliest place of New Orleans. I need the people who want to sell their soul to know where to find me," He chuckled.

"So how do we get to Hell?"

"I call Cerberus."

"Cerberus? The Hell Hound? I thought he only existed in mythology?"

"Well, he doesn't have three heads. But he is a Hell Hound that I named Cerberus."

"Okay," I shook my head in disbelief. "So, how do we call Cerberus?"

He grinned at me seductively and grabbed my hand. I felt my stomach flutter and chills covered my body. He maneuvered my fingers to where he wanted them. He then placed my fingers at his lips and blew. The loudest whistle I have ever heard came from his mouth.

"Ow! Damnit! You could've warned me."

"Sorry, love."

"I think everyone in Louisiana heard th-" The building began to shake and frames began falling off the walls. Tables and chairs fell over, shattering glass and destroying this beautiful loft.

"Cerberus triggers an earthquake every time he comes to earth. He does it on purpose though, he likes to make an entrance."

"So he's got a flare for dramatics? Just like you."

"Funny."

A few moments later, I felt hot breath on my neck. The hairs on my arms stood to attention but yet, I found comfort in the heat coming off him. I turned and locked eyes with two glowing red ones. His black coat was laced with flames and he had long, sharp claws that dug into the hardwood floor. He stood at probably 7' tall and his head hung low to stay eye to eye with me.

"Cerberus, I presume?" He huffed in response.

"Cerb, be nice to the lady. I quite like her."

Obviously, I can smell the lust radiating off the two of you.

I flinched at the sound of the deep voice entering my mind. No movement came from Cerberus' mouth. "What was that?"

She heard me? He spoke again.

"It's a long story," Lucas explained. "We're taking her to Hell to figure out why she can do these things."

Lucas turned to me. "Give me your hand."

I shook my head, slightly terrified of the beast in front of me.

"Cerb, stop intimidating her." I saw the slight tilt of Cerberus' mouth, as if he was grinning.

His 7' tall stature shrank to that of a normal dog. His burning black coat fizzled out into beautiful black fur. His eyes turned beady black and his claws shortened.

Better? I heard him say.

"Much," I laughed, letting out a shaky breath. "So, how do we do this?"

Lucas looked at me, nervously. "This part you aren't going to like."

"Just tell me."

"I have to go back, alone. Just for a few hours. Well, for you, it'll be a few days. I'm leaving Cerberus with you, to protect you."
