The next few days passed smoothly. There were no more appearances from the "demon girl" as Cerb had called her and my powers didn't rise to the surface again. Cerb and I tried exploring New Orleans but he complained more than anything because I had to keep him on a leash and people kept petting him.

I asked him why he couldn't just walk around in human form and he said that Lucas gave him that as a gift and he didn't want to abuse it.

"When is Lucas coming back?" I asked Cerberus over dinner.

"He said a few days so-" He stopped.

"What?"

He swallowed his food and chuckled. "Speak of the devil."

"Do you ever get tired of your puns?" I heard Lucas speak behind me.

I turned in my chair and found him standing right behind me. "Hi."

I felt his lips against the top of my head. "Hey, love. What'd you cook?"

I smirked and grabbed my plate. "Chicken Tortellini."

He burst into laughter, holding onto his stomach.

Cerberus looked between us, confused. "Did I miss the joke or something?"

"Something like that," I laughed with Lucas.

After a few moments, Lucas and I finally stopped laughing. I looked up at him as his face turned serious. "Cerb, can I talk to you for a second?"

"Allyson already knows," He muttered.

"What? How?"

"She's here."

"Oh, you mean demon girl?" I chimed in.

Lucas raised an eyebrow.

"I didn't want to tell her the real name."

"So, who is she?" I asked, shoving a big bite in my mouth.

Lucas looked over at Cerberus and I could tell they were having a mental conversation. I laid my fork down, starting to feel uneasy.

Cerberus got up and left the room after a few moments.

I looked up at Lucas suspiciously. "Who is she?"

"Her name is Hecate. She is a seducer. I don't know how she disguised herself from me but Cerb could smell her."

I felt my stomach drop. "She said that you left her for me."

"Well, that is and isn't true. I was already leaving her and then you just ended up showing up not long after."

"If she's a seducer, then that means she's way better at-"

"No," he interrupted me. "What you made me feel with your mind alone, Allyson, I've never felt anything like that before."

I dropped my head, not looking him in the eyes. "I'm going to bed, I need to process this."

"We don't have time. We have to get to Hell, now. I regained enough power and energy to get us both there. Cerb will follow shortly after. He's going to take care of Hecate."

"What do you mean 'take care of Hecate'?"

"He's going to send her back to Hell."

"But, that's where we're going."

"I can punish her there." Images flashed through my mind at his words. Fear gripped me again. I'm trusting the Devil. Something I definitely shouldn't be doing. Call me stupid, but I was curious as to what I am.

I sighed and stood. "Okay, let's go."

He got up with me and grabbed my hand. "I know this is a lot, I'm sorry."

"Just get it over with, Lucifer."

He growled at my use of his real name. "Don't be angry with me."

I shrugged my shoulders and looked away. I felt him tense beside me before I felt a tingling sensation all over my body. For a moment, everything around me began to blur. Then, I saw fire. Everywhere around me was fire. Lava dripping from walls and screams echoing in all directions. I held my head in my hands and fell to my knees.

After a few moments, I felt the sensation again and opened my eyes. This time, we were in a giant ballroom. Dead silence surrounded me as I looked at the giant pillars lining the room. There was black marble everywhere. "Wow," I whispered.

"I'm sorry you had to experience that a minute ago. When you first enter hell, you have to jump through the punishment realm."

"Where are we now?"

"This would be my home."

"It's beautiful," I turned to look at him and his eyes widened. "What? What's wrong?"

He pointed to a mirror next to us, hanging on the wall. "You look... different."

I walked to the mirror and observed the creature who stood before me. My cheekbones were more prominent and my jawline was sharp. My nose was the perfect shape and my lips plumper. I looked absolutely breathtaking. I then switched my focus to my eyes. They were almost normal except that my irises were now a blood red. "What happened?" I turned to look at Lucas who was now staring at my body.

I looked down to notice my boobs had grown to a D and my waist had slimmed down. My curves were more prominent than ever and my ass was more rounded.

"Hell has been good to you," I heard Cerberus speak from behind me. He walked up in his human form and winked at me.

"I don't understand."

"Your true form must have been brought up through the shift to Hell."

I looked over at Lucas who couldn't take his eyes off my boobs. I felt his attraction to me flowing in the room. That scared me. It wasn't a step I was ready to make. I mean, he is the Devil, after all.

"Cerberus, leave us." Cerb obeyed, turning around and walking out but not before running his eyes down my body one more time.

I looked back in the mirror once he was gone and noticed that giant light gray wings had sprout from my back. I tensed my back muscles and they moved.

"Wow," I whispered. I kept practicing moving them and then wrapped one around me, feeling the feathers with my fingertips.

Lucas walked to stand before me. "We need to go see someone, now. I can't hold back much longer. Especially not after seeing you transform." I felt bile rise in the back of my throat at his words. Yes, he was attractive and I felt attraction and temptation toward him but I didn't like that I felt like those feelings weren't my own.

"So who are we going to see?"

"Melchom."
