I felt the area around us heat up as the two men challenged one another. My skin began to itch and my head started to swim. I was shifting.

"Stop," I whispered, hoping they would hear me. The air around us became so hot, the plastic wrapping on the toilet paper began to melt. I felt my knees buckle as my transformation hit me full force. Horns burst from my skull, splattering blood on the shelves next to me. I reached up to feel the pointy objects I had felt so many times over the last two years. They were coated with blood... this has never happened before.

My eyes met Cerberus'. "Cerb," I let out weakly. The heat let up as he rushed to me, falling to his knees before me.

"What can I do?" He asked, frantic.

"I-I don't know," I stuttered. I looked up at Lucifer, who now had a slightly frightened look in his eyes.

"Lucifer, what do I do?" Cerberus turned to him, grabbing his shoulders and shaking him.

Lucifer looked from me to Cerberus and shrugged. Shrugged.

"Are you fucking joking right now?" Cerberus growled.

I felt the scream a few seconds before it was released. I tilted my head back and the sound erupted from me. Blood spurted out from my back as ash grey wings tore through my skin. I looked up at Cerberus and knew from the look in his eyes that my appearance had also changed to the way I looked in Hell.

"What is happening to me?" I pleaded, tears streaming down my face from the pain. I reached up to wipe them and when I brought my hand down, it was covered in blood. He looked at me in pure panic, seeing the blood coming from my eyes.

Something clicked in Cerberus' head as he reached down and picked me up.

"The solstice. It's in a week."

I rubbed my temples and fell onto the floor. Leaning against the shelves, I looked up at him. "What do I do, Cerb? I can't stay here."

"Yes you can. You can stay here. I will make sure that he doesn't come bother you. I will keep you safe Allyson."

"She can't stay here," Lucifer finally said. "She'll destroy this town. The Solstice is calling to her. Telling her to fulfill her prophecy. I'm here to make sure that doesn't happen."

I looked around at my surroundings. The rolls of paper on fire, melted plastic and blood dripping onto the ground. Panic engulfs me as I realize the meaning behind his words. He's going to kill me.

I felt my body tingle and I shut my eyes tightly, trying not to focus on the pain rushing through my body.

Oddly, the pain began to quickly subside. I felt my body begin to heal and heat run over my skin. I open my eyes when I realize Cerberus is no longer holding me. I look up from my crouched position and realize, I'm in Hell, once again. Rage fills my being and I turn on Lucifer. Big mistake bringing me here. I'm at full power now.

"Why the fuck am I here, Lucifer?"

"You've been gone to long, love. Your body was rejecting the Earth. Especially with the Solstice right around the corner." He began to walk toward me, reaching his hand out toward my wings.

"Don't you fucking touch me."

Lucifer chuckled deep in his throat. "Feisty now, are we?"

"Yeah, I am. I've spent two years away from you, training every single day so that when the Solstice finally came, I could kill you."

"What happened, love? You used to like me. You used to let me make that pretty little body tremble without even touching you."

He reached his hand toward my wings again.

You lay a single finger on her, I will bite your fucking head off Lucifer.

I looked to my side and saw Cerb, in all his Hell Hound glory, looking down at us. The flames on his coat burning even brighter from his anger.

"Oh, Cerberus, come on. Don't tell me you got attached. She's my soulmate, you know."

I felt my laughter bubble up inside me. "Soulmate?"

I looked over at Cerb and could see his wolffish grin. Lucifer's eyebrows crinkled in confusion, looking between the two of us.

"What did you do?"

"You didn't feel it? When I got a witch to break that soulmate bond from you? I've been quite busy these last two years. You see, when you snapped at me and put me in that dungeon, I realized exactly what you are. I hadn't put it together before then that you really were Lucifer. You really are the Devil and that you were never going to let me go. You thrive on punishment. Call it naivety, but I believed you, on Earth. When you were just 'Lucas'. But, you're not just 'Lucas', you are Lucifer. And when this Solstice came, you would have killed me. No matter what. No matter if you loved me. No matter if I was your soulmate. So, I had the soulmate bond broken. And let me just tell you, that hurt like a bitch."

Lucifer looked between both Cerberus and I, trying to decide if I'm really telling the truth.

"There's no way. You never would've found a witch that powerful."

Oh, but we did. Did you forget I was your loyal servant for all those years? And I emphasize "was". I also had my bond broken. She is my master now. Cerberus spoke into our minds.

"I would've felt the bond break. You're lying."

I grinned sweetly at Lucifer as I saw his rage book under the surface. "Not if we found the most powerful witch in New Orleans." I watch the shock take over his features. "There's a reason why you were sent to Hell, Lucifer. And I'm here to destroy you. Just like you destroyed my family."

I see the realization flicker across his face. He knows that I know. The fear begins to set in not long after. And just as quickly as he appeared, he was gone.

I whip my head to Cerb, who looks just as confused as me. "Where did he go?"

"I have no idea, but we have to get out of here."
