Poison Kiss
Chapter 3:
Vincent's POV:
I sat on my bed staring daggers at the wall. I admit, I had been a bit of a player myself, but this was ridiculous. Why would he want another woman when he had someone as nice as Ashlynn? Why did he even bother to fool around with that blonde bimbo anyway?
I choked a bit in revulsion at the thought, as a wave of disgust washed over me. That girl was sickening. The sight of her made me gag, sending a sickly sweet smell into my nostrils that wouldn't leave, like the perfume of an old lady.
I had never had a good girlfriend. They had all been whores and sluts, just like the girls that Brian fucked around with. In the end, I had been cheated on far more times than I would like to say. Why couldn't I have someone like Ashlynn to be faithful with?
Well, maybe that was a bit of a lie. I had had one good girlfriend, but it proved to be too painful to talk about her, after what had happened.
I covered my face in my hands and sighed. Why did my parents send me to live with him? They knew we hated eachother. Together, we created nothing but trouble.
I stood and walked over to the mirror, grumbling as I went, and pressed my warm face against the glass. Why did my parents have to stick me with him? Prison was preferable to this.
I raised my fist and smashed it down on the mirror in anger, shattering it, and causing little shards of glass to rain down on me.
And Ashlynn.... She was something special. Why couldn't Brian just see that? She was a keeper. I could see it in her eyes. Even though I had met her only briefly, something made me want to get to know her.
I picked up my phone and texted Ashlynn's number, which I had retrieved from Brian's phone.
Vincent: Good morning! Just thought I'd say it, since I know he won't.
I sighed and walked back to my bed, sitting down on the side. Stupid Brian. He had it all, and yet he still wanted more.

Ashlynn's POV:
I slowly walked around my room, searching for my phone battery. It had to be around here somewhere...Aha! Under my mirror. I picked it up and popped it back in my phone, powering it on. One new text message.
Unknown: Good morning! Just thought I'd say it, since I know he won't.
Ashlynn: Good morning to you too, I guess. Ready to tell me who you are?
Unknown: Now and spoil a surprise? Not a chance. ;)
I frowned and put my phone down on the corner of my dresser. I might as well take a shower and get dressed now. I planned to drop by Brian's and surprise him today. He always did those kind of things to me, so I might as well return the favor.
*One hour later...
Hmmm...
Well I guess this shirt went nicely with these pants. The pale blue blended well with the light grey of my jeans. I checked my makeup one last time in the mirror and headed out the door. It was only a ten minute walk to Brian's.
As I approached the driveway, I frowned. Why was Sophie Harrison's car in the driveway? Maybe Vincent had invited her over, considering how slutty she is.
I raised my hand to knock on the door, but someone interuppted me.
"Hey..." Vincent whispered. I hadn't seen him standing at the open window.
