The Hidden Truth

   This chapter mentions the word rape,letting you guys know. 

  While mom and dad were gone we arranged sleeping arrangements. It was only three bedrooms in the house. Amos and Matteo said they would sleep on the couch and Mr.and Mrs. Bocelli could have a room, mom and dad could have a room,and us girls could sleep in Matteo's room. It was a nice couch,so they would be okay. Especially since it was a pull out bed. The bed we were sleeping in could fit all four of us,his bed was so big. 

     "you guys I made dinner,spaghetti." Mrs. Bocelli said.

"Ooh spaghetti." Ana said and ran downstairs. I laughed and we all joined them back downstairs. We washed up and when we sat down mom and dad came back.They washed up and joined us at the dinner table. We all ate and talked about happy things. Matteo had his hand on my thigh,I just felt like ever since he came back from the police station he hasn't been the same. After dinner we showered and all came down for movie night. We ended up all falling asleep on the couch. Matteo got up around 2am I think and went into the kitchen. I moved so i could see him and he had his head on the counter and his hands on top of his head. I got up slowly and went to him. 

   "hey,you okay?" I asked putting my hand on his back,he jumped a little. 

"Yeah I'm fine." he said still keepting his head down.

"Matteo what is it?" I asked.

He finally lifted his head up and took my hand and guided me upstairs. We went into his room since everyone was still downstairs and shut the door. He sat on the bed and he looked me in the eyes. 

     "I don't know those thoughts of me being locked up and beaten,the pain comes and goes. I took some pain killers,but its not working." 

  "babe these are over the counter,you need real ones." 

"I'll get them tomorrow,I went to the doctor while you were asleep,do you need to go tomorrow?"

 "No,I'm fine." i smiled.

"are you sure?" He asked.I nodded, "Rosalyn can we get married soon,I mean if you want." 

  "I do,but I still have college."

"Hey maybe I'll attend Julliard as well." He smiled.

"That would be great if you would." I laughed.

 "hey maybe I should." 

"Matteo you're already finished with school."

"Well maybe I can come and give lessons on some days and then I can see you." He said hugging me.

"I've really missed you." 

"I've missed you to,being able to hear your voice really made me push through." 

  " Really?'

"Really,I have something else to say." 

"what is it?"

"Well Roxane she tied me up and she raped me. She forced me to have sex with her,I couldn't do anything and I think she may be pregnant,she made me with Alicia to and she was crying." 

"She told me,but she didn't mention Alicia." Should I tell him Baby M,not even his.

 "She did."

"Yeah and she said something else as well,its about baby M."

  "He's not mine." 

"She told you?"

"Yeah,like the first few days." He said.

"Oh wow,I'm sorry Matteo."

"Hey he's still mine,I guess we have to adopt him now since legally he's not mine." Matteo said.

"Yeah." I said kissing his lips.

"One more thing, Officer jackie,I think I saw her there." 

  "What?"

"Yeah,she was talking to Roxanne,I think it was her,it was kind of blurry. I heard her say mom or something,but I've met Roxanne's mom and it wasn't Officer Jackie."

 "What?" 

"Yeah,but like I said it was kind of blurry."

 "You know I wish we could go back when we first danced together."

"Yeah when I left my phone and joined you. Where we almost had our first kiss." Matteo laughed.

"Yeah,that day is one of my favorites." 

"Mine to." Matteo said grabbing on his side. He took another pill and laid down. 

  "Hey,that's enough." I said taking the pills away from him. 

"I just want it to go away." He said and closed his eyes. 

I got some cover and covered him up.

"Stay with me Rosalyn." He said.

I climbed on the other side and he brought me close to him,I kissed his forehead and he kissed my lips.

   "How about tomorrow?" I asked

"How about tomorrow what?" Matteo lifted an eyebrow.

"we get married here,my dad is ordained." I suggested.

"really?" His eyes lit up.

"Yes really,I mean I have a white dress at my house,its not long,but I think it would do. My dad wouldn't mind getting it." 

"Really?Like you are not joking?" 

"No,I'm not." I laughed.

"Yes,lets do it." Matteo said getting up and went to his dresser and opened it. He pulled out a ring box and opened. It was two wedding rings. "I had these made for us." 

   "Aww Matteo,these are beautiful." I said.

"Our initials are engraved in them as well."

I took one out and it said, M&R forever. I hugged him and then kissed him. 

We can tell everyone when they wake up. Omg I was getting married tomorrow.
