"The eight and final battle in the first round of the matches." Present Mic announced through the speakers. "He was kind of a hot shot in middle school. And just look at the determined face! From the hero course, Katsuki Bakugo. Versus, the one who was able to get into UA on a late entry, (Y/N) (L/N)!"

The crowd began to cheer around us, almost covering the sound of my heart.

"Don't think that you're special because of your late entry. If you want to give up now, just do it. 'Cause I'm not gonna hold anything back...extra," he threatened me.

I took a deep breath, looking him straight back in the eye, "Good...you're going to need it."

The top of his lip started to curl as he came running after me, at full speed.

Just wait, (Y/N), the opening-

Just as he was about to hit me with a blast, I turned around him, blasting him with my acid.

"What the hell?" he winced, grabbing his arm and turning to me.

Then, as our eyes looked, I saw it.

"Midoriya...is it?" I mumbled to myself.

"What did—"

As he spoke, I used the acid on the ground to build up our classmate. Bakugo's eyes widened as he saw figure standing in front of him, and he instantly looked back to me.

"What the hell is this?" he snarled.

"Your worst fear...apparently," I responded, a little shocked myself.

I hadn't been here that long, but I knew that Bakugo didn't like Midoriya, but I did not expect that facing him would be Bakugo's biggest fear.

Bakugo let out a loud laugh, "You're kidding me...I have to face this? ...this is going to be the easiest win of the day!"

Instantly Bakugo tried to blast it, but I quickly moved the figure, dodging the attack and blasting more acid at him, leaving Bakugo speechless.

"Did you really think it would be so simple?" I asked, almost laughing at the shocked look on his face.

He really had such low expectations for me.

"I didn't think this would be something I needed to tell you, but it may look like you're against him- but I control the movements...you're still fighting me," I told him. "I figured you'd be smarter than that..."

"Shut up!" he shouted back at me, still staring at the Midoriya figure in front of him.

He didn't make a more at first. I knew he was trying to think. I could've hit him again right there, but it would only cause damage. I had to think of a way to get him out of bounce.

As I was stuck in thought, Bakugo began to blast his attacks again at the acid figure. Due to my lack of attention, he easily blew it to much, leaving a scattered droplets around the arena floor.

I couldn't help but let out a sigh. "That's you're strategy?"

"Looks like it worked," he flaunted. "You've got nothing now."

It soon became apparent that I really did have the upper hand here. There was a puddle behind Bakugo, from when the figure blasted him earlier. I soon made another one rise from that, blasting him again from behind.

Bakugo winced in pain, instantly turning around.

"You F—"

"Now, we don't condone that language, Bakugo," Present Mic interrupted.

"Tell me..." Bakugo spoke, still facing the acid figure, "Can they see this too?"

I looked around the crowd all of them watching with confusion.

"As far as I know, the only thing they can see is a floating blob of acid. Only you and I can see him," I informed him.

Bakugo didn't say anything in response. Instead, he turned and ran at me at full force, completely forgetting about the decoy.

What is he-

I didn't have time to think, I instantly moved the decoy to appear in front of me to shield me from his attack, but as Bakugo blasted it, the acid started to blast all around.

SHIT

I quickly moved to dodge the acid, as it hit Bakugo.

"You're kidding me," he snarled, moving his arm to shield his face.

I looked to him, and he had various burns from the acid all on his arms. However, the look in his eyes told me that he was far from done with this battle.

*Bakugo's P.O.V.*

"GODDAMIT!" I shouted, as my skin started to sizzle.

She was fast. A lot faster than I would have expected, but she wasn't dodging my explosion. I looked back over to her. She was crouched down on the floor, probably to stable herself after moving with such speed. However, she looked different this time. She almost looked scared, but of what? The way she moved- she wasn't trying to dodge my explosion. It was almost- almost as if she was trying to dodge her own quirk...oh, this is over.

I ran back at her with full speed, and again, another one of her acid decoys reappeared- this one attacking me instantly. I dodged it and continued towards her. As expected, the decoyed followed, and I shot the decoy with a blast. Again, she moved to her right to dodge the acid, and as I was sprayed, I hit her with the hardest blast I could. Instantly, her body flew out of bounce onto the grass.

"Not only is (Y/N) out of bounce, but she looks unconscious. The last match goes to Bakugo!" Present Mic enthusiastically announced. "Still not quite sure what he was blasting all at, but he is VICTORIOUS!"

I stumbled a little, out of breath. I then looked up to the crowd, spotting Deku.

Damn nerd.
