Don't do it, (Y/N). Do not turn around-

At this point, I didn't even have control in my legs as I sprinted the opposite direction. I had to help the others, and then I can join them back to camp. My quirt was sufficient enough that if I needed to I could easily make a decoy and get away. Not everyone had that opportunity. They aren't ready to face a villain one-on-one.

I continued to sprint through the woods, knowing that they couldn't be that far in, but the father I went the heavier the black smoke got. I knew that I was off, and had to find the pathway, but as I was starting to go the opposite direction, a figure appeared out of the smoke.

"Now, what do we have here," a male voice taunted me.

His figure stared to clear out, and older man with a patch work face and glowing blue eyes stood in front of me. It was one of the villains.

I stepped back, a little shocked. We had been told to not engage. One simple blast and I can get out of here. I quickly shot my acid at him, only for him to use a blue flame out of his hand to deflect it.

"You're lucky you aren't on the kill list.... a move like that should have had you dead," the man said. "It makes sense why they don't want you yet..."

Want me?

"Wha-what are you talking about?" I slowly asked him.

"We're here recruiting. We were given exclusive backgrounds on each of you guys, and you were lucky enough to make the no kill list," the man explained, taking his steps closer to me. "But you weren't nearly as lucky as your classmate, Bakugo, you aren't ready yet... are you, doll?"

"Ready? Ready for what? What are you going to do with Bakugo?" I questioned, paralyzed and unsure of my next move.

"Because they still want you, you're a liability. I don't want your quirk getting in my way. I'm not supposed to kill you, but if you get in my way, I will. So, it's just easier for me to take care of you like this," he said, walking away from me.

Like this-

"Attention, everyone in Class A and Class B! In the name of the pro hero, Eraserhead, you are granted permission to engage in combat. I repeat. Use your training," Mandalay's voice rang.

Perfect!

As the man was walking away, I used the opportunity to shoot out a larger blob of acid, ensured to burn him, but as I took the shot, a wall of blue flames appeared in front of me, and as I turned around, they were also behind me, leaving me completely surrounded.

I get it, because he can't kill me, he's just going to trap me...this isn't good.

I started looking around, and I couldn't see any way out. My acid was completely useless to the flames. I wanted to try to boost the acid down, so I could fly over the wall. But there was no way I was going to be able to create enough, for a wall that he can make taller.

It didn't matter much, though. The smoke started to engulf me, and I couldn't breathe enough to process any plans. Before I could understand what was going on, everything started to go black.

When I woke up, I was on a stretcher in the back of an ambulance.

"This one is awake," one of the EMT's announced.

I started to look around seeing multiple police cars and ambulances. Each student was either being questioned or evaluated.

"(Y/N)!" Kirishima greeted me, coming over to me.

"Kiri- oh my God, Bakugo...they were after him- is he—"

I could only stop my sentence short as Kirishima regretfully nodded his head at me.

They had him...they had Bakugo...

Before I could be told anything more, the EMT's said they had to start an evaluation on me. I explained what had happened to me, and they mainly just checked my lungs. Afterwards, I talked to the police, telling them that I didn't have much information on anything. Once I was done talking to the police, I joined my other classmates.

"(Y/N), you're okay," Mina sighed, running up to and hugging me. "I was so worried."

I instantly hugged her back, "I'm glad you're okay too!"

When we pulled away from each other, she stayed close to me. I noticed that Kirishima had as well, much like after training the other day. They were definitely my closest friends here, but they weren't the only ones.

"In their eyes, we're villain material..."

I should have never said that to him. He wasn't villain material...and now, he's with them, what if what I said-

"(Y/N), we're getting on the bus, you want help with your stuff?" Kirishima asked me.

I couldn't help but look up at him with tears in my eyes.

"(Y/N), you okay—"

"Y-you don't think... that Bakugo could—"

He instantly pulled me into a hug to quiet me down. "A lot has happened tonight...I'm upset that I couldn't be there to help my friend, but if I know Bakugo, we don't have to worry about that, okay?"

I nodded in response. It was as if he read my mind, but in all reality, that was what was going on in everyone's head. Bakugo was so rash, violent, and rude. We were all worried for what would happen next.
