I walked through the drop off area and saw Jimmy talking to Alex.

I sighed and he saw me out the corner of his eyes. He pursed his lips together and winked at me. I did a half smile and saw Alex looking over to me.

She said her goodbyes to him and she walked out the building, right past me. I gave her the cold shoulder and walked up to Jimmy.

"Whaddup Jimmy." I dapped him up.

"You ready?" I asked him.

"I'm working an extra shift, I forgot to tell you." He replied.

"Dammit, it's aight." I replied. "I really wanted to see you at the Shelter tonight.." I mumbled.

He didn't respond and looked down at the ground.

"Wait here." He said and walked back down the ramp. I leaned against the railing and waited for him to come back. He started talking to some guy.

He came back a few minutes later.

"Let's go." He replied with a slight smile.

"Where?" I asked.

"The fucking Shelter where else?" He said and walked past me to the car.

I just laughed and caught up to him.

"What made you change your mind?" I asked out of curiosity.

"You.." He replied.

It got silent and so I changed the subject.

"Man, I can't wait to see you rip Papa Docs ass." I replied to him.

"Yeah.." He replied.

"Just curious, what you gon' do after the battle?" I asked him.

"I ain't too sure." He replied.

"If you ever get big don't forget 'bout me!" I said and he laughed slightly.

"Don't worry I ain't gon' forget yo stupid ass." He replied.

"Sheesh, what I do to be stupid?" I asked.

"Nothing! It felt right." He said and I glanced over to him.

"You ready for tonight?" I asked him.

"Definitely." He sounded determined.

We crossed the street and walked into the back door to the Shelter.

"Is that– Rabbit!" Cheddar yelled.

Jimmy just kept walking and I followed him. I looked behind us and saw Future, Iz, Sol, and Cheddar.

"Are you battling?" Sol asked Jimmy.

"Yeah.." He replied standing in the doorway. They didn't looking convinced.
