I opened the door to the apartment and Lily ran in and jumped onto the bar stool.

I put my left arm on the doorway so I could take my shoes off.

She started swinging her feet and struggled to unzip her jacket.

I sighed. "Let me help ya'." I told her and unzipped her jacket. I slipped her arms out the sleeves and rested them on the backside of the stool for her.

"You hungry?" I asked her.

She shook her head.

"I'm tired." She said simply.

I picked her up and rested her on my hip; wrapping my right arm around her hip. I carried her to her room which Jimmy decorated with all of her stuff. I wasn't sure from where but he got them for her.

"Delaney?" Lily mumbled as I carefully put her down on her bed.

"Yeah?" I responded whilst pulling the bed covers over her.

"When is Jimmy coming home?" She asked me while fixing her position under the covers.

"In a little bit," I stated. "He's workin' real hard." I informed her.

She nodded her tiny head and shut her eyes to sleep. I felt bad for her, she wasn't given the proper childhood. I caressed her cheek and sighed. I left her room and walked back into the kitchen. I was going to finish taking off my shoes when I heard chatting outside the door.

I shook my head knowing exactly who it was. I walked over to the door, opened it swiftly to surprise them.

"What do you muh'fuckers want?" I asked and a small smile formed on my face when it was Jimmy's friends on the opposite side of the door.

"Dellll!" Future yelled and stumbled into the room.

They all filled in after them. I assumed they were drunk by the way they walked.

"Y'all gotta be quiet, Lily in the back sleepin'." I informed them and closed the door.

"You babysitting for him?" Sol asked then took a swing from his beer.

"Whaat? I live here." I told them and shook my head.

They got quiet and looked at each other.

"You fuck with, Jimmy?" Cheddar asked.

I facepalmed. "He ain't tell you?" I said and sat down on one of the barstools.

"Well, we heard some shit but you know.." Future smirked at me.

I rolled my eyes.

"When's he comin' home?"

I shrugged. "Shouldn't be too long." I replied.

"Here." Sol handed me a fresh beer; the cap already popped.

I laughed shortly. "Thanks." I mumbled. I clanked bottles with Future and Sol.

"Where your brother at?" I asked Sol and took a swing of my beer.

"Fuck if I know," Sol said. "He's been going out with..." Sol side-eyed future and drank some of his beer.

The door opened. Our heads turned to look at the door.

"Hey, Del..." A familiar voice said. His voice died down when he saw all of us.

"Ayyee!!" Jimmy's mood changed. He dapped all of them up.

"Hey, Rabbit." I greeted him. He looked over to me and smiled.

"Aren't you a sight for sore eyes.." He mumbled. "Where's Lily? She sleeping?" He asked.

"Yeah, man." I consoled him.

"Jimmy." Future slurred stumbling over to Rabbit. "When yo' ass gon' get back in the studio?" Future asked placing his free hand on Jimmy's shoulder.

"Okay-okay, I've been busy," Jimmy stated. "Shit can happen, man."

"Y'all hear that?" Future whisked his head around to his friends and they had a growing smile on their faces.

"Sounds like BULLSHIT!" They yelled and Future stumbled back laughing his ass off.

"Maaaannn." Jimmy yelled and dismissed them.

"You know we just yankin' ya' chain." Future jokes.

"I'll come in tomorrow, it will be the start of a new era." Jimmy said raising his arms out. They got happy and cheered.

"But, our story is just beginning." Jimmy said to me.

I smiled and just shook my head.

"Man, fuck you.." I mumbled to hip and tapped his nose.
