I got in my old orange car and headed to the exit of the trailer park to go look for Del.

I figured she may have went to Mo'nique's place but, had to figure out where her place was.

I'd figure I'd check some places around where she worked.

I was on my second apartment building, I was starting to loose hope.

"Is there a Mo'Nique here?" I asked the receptionist.

"Mo'Nique Blake?" They asked.

"Yeah yeah, what room she in?" I asked.

"The third floor, room one o' three." They said.

I hummed as a thanks and made my way to the elevator.

I gotta figure out what happened to Del. Did someone hit her? Her pops?

The elevator dinged and I walked out, her door wasn't too far from the elevator. I walked over to the metallic looking door with dirt and grime at the bottom from kicking it. I knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer.

I heard some female voices and Mo'Nique nor Del answered.

"Hey.. Is Mo'Nique or Del here?" I asked stuffing my hands into my baggy pants.

"Yeah.." She turned around and whispered something.

Mo'Nique answered the door.

"Oh hey Rabbit!" She said. I was more at ease since it was someone who I was familiar with.

"Oh shit my bad, come in." She welcomed me in to her medium in sized apartment. The kitchen was to my left and they were drinking. There were three other females here including the chick who answered the door.

"Del actually just went out to get some more alcohol.. She'll be back in a few." Mo'Nique said.

"Oh, is she staying with you?" I asked her.

"Yeah.. something happened with her pops." She said and shrugged.

Ok, she knows something.

"Care for a shot?" One of the chicks asked.

"Sure, why not." I took a shot, unsure of what I was drinking.

I shook my head and stuck my tongue out.

"Shit!" I yelled and they started laughing.

The door started to jingle.

There, Del walked in.

She didn't realize I was there until she looked up from locking the door and to the kitchen.

"Jimmy!" Her face lit up.

"Whats up cutie." I greeted her.

"Nothing.." She dragged and walked in front of me to place the drinks on the countertop.

Damn, never realized what a great ass she had.

"What are you doing over here?" She asked as we walked to a more quieter and secluded area of the apartment.

"I was looking for you. You weren't at home, you have a bruise on your head and I want to know what's going on." I said sternly.

"Jimmy, it's nothing." She pushed me away but I grabbed her hand.

"What's wrong? Why cant you tell me?"

"It's– I just don't want to talk 'bout it!" She furrowed her eyebrows.

I sighed and shook my head.

"Look I need you to be ready by twelve tomorrow so I can pick you up ok?" I reminded her.

"Yeah yeah.." She mumbled.

I shook my head and left without saying another word.

What a bunch of fucking bullshit.

I drive– It's not even worth it.

I groaned as I got up from the couch. The smell of pancakes filled my nose.

"You making pancakes?" I asked my mom.

She nodded her head and gave a plate to Lily.

"How was it yesterday?" My mom asked.

"Fine." I simply replied.

"Yo, I'm prolly gonna be gone for most of the day. I'll be at the studio." I told my mom. She didn't say anything so I took that time to go take a shower.

Got out a couple minutes ago, said goodbye to my mom and lily, and left.

I parked on the opposite side of the apartment building and waited for her. I had the left window down with my hand hanging out listening to some music.

Looked out the left window in which my hand was hanging out from to see Del coming out. She was wearing a similar pants to what she wore last night.

Making that ass look tighttt.

I waved to her to come over to the car. She walked in front and around to the passenger side of the car.

"I'm sorry–"

"Don't sweat it." I replied while pulling out of the spot I was parked in.

Most of the ride was silent, but I did figure she was upset from last night.

"Hope ya don't mind.. Future and some other guys may come by later." I told her.

"Yeah yeah it's cool." She replied.

About twenty minutes go by and we arrived at the tall concrete building where I got some studio time.

We walked in the building and I was ready to rap.
