Chapter 26

Harry woke up to Draco smacking him with the green pillow with sliver lining that he had recently been sleeping on.

"HARRY! WE HAVE TO GET READY WE HAVE TO MEET THE PREFECTS DOWNSTAIRS IN AN HOUR"

"okay okay! Relax I'm up"

"Good because I need your help"

"With what"

"...looking amazing duh"

"Dray you could have crawled out of the sewers and still look amazing but you might smell"

"...I don't know wether to be insulted or take it as a complement?"

"Both"

"Right...thanks I guess? Anyway I still need to be perfect for our first day"

"Dray stop right there! You are perfect don't let anyone say otherwise oh and...don't gel your hair,leave it as it is, it looks cute" Harry then proceeded into the shower.

Draco stood in the same spot a light blush on his cheeks and a small smile on his face because his best friend said he was cute.

Once that were both showered and dressed both grabbed their bags and headed to the common room. Once there they saw two of the first year girls already waiting. They soon left for the great hall to collect their timetables and begin their journey at Hogwarts. Once seated at the Slytherin table they saw their friends begin to enter and waved to each of them. The twins where sat in front of them,blaise to Draco's left and pansy to Harry's right. Soon Severus came around with the time tables for the six of them.

"Draco,Harry,Fred, George, blaise annnnd pansy here you go"

"Thanks sev!" They all replied giggling while Severus just rolled his eyes a fond smile on his lips as he carried on handing out timetables to the other students.

Today their first lesson was double potions with Gryffindor, meaning they would see ron during class, then double defence with Ravenclaw and finally Herbology with Hufflepuff meaning they would also see Hermione and Neville while they could sit with the twins at lunch. Today looked like a good day, sev was strict but could make you pass with flying colours if you pay attention. He didn't much care for games or stupidity when making potions mainly for safety and concentration. He would rather not have an accident meaning a student going to the hospital wing but many students like to mess around and get hurt. One time when he was in school some students where messing around and throwing ingredients around causing an explosion that actually put the student who's cauldron it landed in, in St Mungo's. That's one reason Severus is so strict. The defence teacher stuttered a lot and that meant students had a hard time understanding him which caused them to loose focus quickly but so far there was nothing suspicious, although it was only the first day. And Herbology seemed fun and professor Sprout seemed nice enough that hopefully nothing bad would happen in class.

AN:uhhhh sorry? I've been busy lately! I've tried to find time to update but there's so much going on with GCSEs and stuff...BUT HERE! A chapter...😅
