Chapter 2

Peter, supposedly the best friend of lily and James potter. But that wasn't all true. Peter had gone dark, he was going to the potters tonight to distract them so his lord could kill them all, little did he know he was put up for babysitting the smallest potter.

Peter walked into the house and began searching, he called out for his 'friends' but there was no reply. His lord was here and the potters weren't...

He was in trouble! A second after his lord walked in the house there was a small cry? The small potter brat! Thought Peter. He and his lord rushed up the stairs to the nursery where Harry laid. Harry looked vulnerable but he was actually shielded. Lily and James were no idiots neither was anyone who had seen Peter and Harry in the same room. Harry did not like Peter, and nobody knew why. But lily and James has put up very strong charms on Harry to keep him safe for ANY harm.

"Wormtail" Voldemort drawled out, "where are the elder potters you said they had invited you over?"

His tone shook wormtail to the core.
"I..I'm not sure my lord but th...they asked me to come over"

"You will pay for this wormtail! CRUCIO!!"

There sat a withering Peter angry Voldemort and confused Harry.
A few minuets later Voldemort lifted the curse from Peter and told him to meet back at his manor as he could still be of assistance over the years to come. He turned to Harry as soon as Peter aparated away and struck the killing curse not knowing about the charms.

The curse rebounded and smacked Voldemort right in the face. He was gone. Lily and James came back 2 hours later shocked on there discovery of there 15 month old son with a lightning shape scar on his forehead. Voldemort laying on the floor.

They decided to go to dumbledore and the ministry to tell them what had happened. That's why he was called..
