Campus Mystery [ LuMark FF ]

Chapter 15

" That makes two of us ... " said Lucas sitting beside Mark as they both continued to eat their food. Mark looked at him helpless as the two of them were stuck in this together and all they had were each as he knew they were in this together. " What should we say to Lee tomorrow ? " Mark asked Lucas curiously, Lucas smirked pushing Mark over the bed  " Tomorrow's business is for tomorrow, as for tonight ... " he dragged his words as his hands travelled onto the buttons in Mark's pajamas. Mark laughed wrapping his arms around Lucas's neck, while Lucas proceeded to kiss him and sucking upon exposed pale skin. Wrapping his legs around Lucas's torso, with a free hand Lucas switched off the lights, letting the moonlight fill upon the scenario in the room.

The Next Day ...

Lucas and Mark waited for Lee to come so that they could explain what had happened the other day " Should I get you something to drink ? " Lucas asked Mark who looked spaced out, Mark shook his head, Lucas patted his hand to clam him down. " Sorry guys, traffic " Detective Lee finally managed to show up as he sat opposite to both of them " So ? What happened ? " Lee asked. Mark sighed as he began to speak " So we got a note that if I wanted to buy some drugs they had sent me an address to meet them .. " Lee hummed as he listened carefully, Lucas spoke " So we went their, of course I hid myself as they aimed the note for Mark " and Mark continued " When I went there, a guy came out asking me to buy one of the two drugs that they been buying " Lee nodded his head.

" What's the difference in both these drugs ? "   Lucas took the packet out of his jacket pocket and gave it secretly to Lee " Apart from the difference in the price, I guess the quality differs as well, when I touched those powder, one of them that is the one which was expensive felt really nicely powdered, Lee hummed as he inspected them as well " I think I have to send these samples privately to lab to test them out, can't let the officials know that I'm still going after this case " he said smiling " And you two, keep working to get more clues " he said getting up " And Mark, is your father a big shot ? " he asked looking at Mark, he nodded " Yes, he owns the Lee industries " Lucas looked at him surprised, he knew Mark was from a rich family but he never knew Mark was from a powerful family as well.

Lee smiled and spoke once again " Be careful you two, know that they know Mark, he might be monitored on campus, make sure to stay safe " he said leaving the place, Lucas rolled his eyes " This guy irritates me so much " he said cursing Lee under his breathe, Mark smiled patting his hand " It's okay, let's go back " Mark said pulling Lucas up by his hand, Lucas laughed getting up along with him. Both the men left the café and walked hand in hand. Lucas was certainly lost in thoughts now, he was worried about the whole situation and how a single mistake can trace it back to them hurting one of them or both of them.

Mar gripped his hands tighter and smiled adjusting his muffler, since it was getting chill with the weather getting more cold and colder. " I know what you are thinking, but we are in this together and don't think of leaving me alone and taking the solo mission in your hand " Lucas laughed at Mark's words, he ruffled Mark's hair and put Mark's hands in his own pocket to make him feel warm " You seem to read my mind Mr. Lee " Lucas joked making Mark smile. " I don't need to read your mind, your dumb face says it all " he joked trying to run away from Lucas, who caught him immediately twirling him around " Who's dumb huh ? " he laughed asking the question, Mark struggled to set himself free while falling into a fit of laughter together. Both of them enjoyed the moment together forgetting they had some major issues going on around them.

A week later ...

Mark was going to his early classes, Lucas had some early basketball match so he had left early. Mark on the other hand, was looking over his new class schedule since the new semester had began and Mark had no idea which classes had been assigned for him. As he was going over his schedule, he heard his name being called, at first he looked around but didn't find anyone, but then he heard his name being called once more and that's when he saw him " Johnny hyung ~ " Mark said walking over to him " Mark, going over class schedule ? " he asked peeking over his sheet of paper in his hand, Mark smiled " Yes hyung, seems like I have to take another boring class for this semester " he laughed joking about the schedule, Johnny smiled.

Both the men walking out of the faculty building walking along side each other, Mark looked at Johnny " Hyung what brings you to our faculty though ? " Johnny looked at him " Ah~ These " Johnny said waving the bag in hand, Mark inspected them and looked them curiously " What's in the bag hyung ? " Johnny shook his head " I don't know, Professor Yang was supposed to give it Dean, but since he was busy he asked me to deliver it to him " he said shaking his head. As soon as he heard Dean, Mark became more curious, he wanted to know what was in the bag, as he felt that Johnny won't be comfortable he wanted to insect the bag " Hyung... I.... Can I ... " Mark dragged his question, Johnny smiled " What is it Mark ? " Mark breathed out trying to in take some courage " Hyung ~ Can I see what's in the bag ? "  Johnny smiled.

" Sure, let me open the bag " he said opening the bag, he knew Mark for a vey long time, so was always used to listening the youngers words. Mark seriously looked at the bag, but his eyes grew bug in shock seeing the content in the bag, Mark took the content from the bag and looked up close so that he would be sure what he saw where actually what they thought it was " These are... " Johnny looked at them curiously " Oh these ~ " Johnny looked at the Mark. he looked at Johnny shook hw Johnny knew what these were " You know these hyung ? " he asked, but immediately Mark's hands went took his phone out subtly pressing the record option to record what Johnny was about to say, who knew it might be a proof as well or a piece of information.

" I know them, Professor Yang bring in these small packets from Dean and he would print these lambda symbol on them " Mark was shook at his words, the packet were clearly the ones used for selling drugs, but he wasn't sure if Johnny knew about it, he knew if he said them it would either alert Johnny or make him look suspicious as well, so he decided to not tell him about it, Mark wanted to take pictures of them, because if he took the packet with him they might suspect over one missing packet, so he decided it was best to take picture. But he didn't want Johnny to know about it. He decided to divert him so that he would take picture.

" Hyung can you get me a bottle of water from the vending machine, I don't have money on me " he said scratching his head, Johnny laughed ruffling his hair " Sure ~ " he said walking over to the vending machine to get the water Mark asked for. Mark took this opportunity to take picture of the packets in the bag and kept the phone inside his pocket and acted normal. Johnny was back with the water bottle " Here you go, I have to go now, bye " Mark smiled waving Johnny goodbye " Thank you hyung, bye " he said walking opposite path to Johnny's . After making sure Johnny had gone far from him. He took his phone out once again and dialed a number " Lucas, meet me in my apartment " he said ending the call with a serious look on his face.
