Chapter 7

Mark and Lucas had come back to the apartment after the whole incident. They were not only tired but confused on what was happening. They were still clueless and hoped they found more clues on the case.

As usual the Dean seemed not to care about the issue and police closed the case saying this was bunch of college kids overdoesed on drugs. But only Mark and Lucas knew it was something more than that. Or maybe the police and the Dean knew as well but didn't want to get involved in this. Either way the clues from the party and as well as from Lucas's ex were going to give them break through.

Mark and Lucas sighed as they sat on the couch.

He was the one who called me!
Lucas spoke as he looked at the ceiling.

Mark was confused on what Lucas was talking about.
What?

Lucas sighed looking back at Mark
This morning the phone call that I got, it was from the guy who was killed.

Mark listened to him carefully and them went deep into his thoughts, it was as though the deaths happened because they knew something that they shouldn't have known and that's when it struck Mark.

Lucas!
Lucas's attention was back at Mark.

Do you think all those people who had died knew something about this issue....

Lucas shook his head as he began to get the idea of what Mark was trying to say.

And they would have been killed fearing they might say this to someone.

And that's when Mark had another point sisnow all this kind of got connected somehow.

Maybe this is why your ex didnt want to speak that day and decided to meet you outside the college.

Maybe the drug circle and this incidents all have to do something with someone or something in our campus.

Lucas and Mark had solved their first clue, someone or something is the reason why these incidents took place.

It was the usual Saturday morning and Mark was still fast asleep, since he didn't have any morning classes he decided to sleep in.

But soon his sleep was disturbed by his phone.

Hello ~

Mark sat up staright hearing the voice in the other end. He got up from his bed immediately. Mark went to take a quick bath and got his clothes changed.

He was in a hurry and closed the door behind taking his car keys with him.

Lucas wasn't feeling well, it seem he had a mild fever which made it impossible to get up from his bed, he decided to skip his morning classes, since his team mates were in hospital after they were admitted in hospital because of the drug overdoesed incident.

Cops had their own doubts on Lucas as well, he was called in the next day in why the captain of the team wasn't present at the party, they doubted he would be behind this. But Lucas cleared it, of course people still couldn't believe him, so Mark had to step in and explain that he was with him and they had dinner together, that's reason he had to skip the party. Only after lot of explaining by both Lucas and Mark they were left alone.
