Campus Mystery [ LuMark FF ]

Chapter 12

Mark was shocked to see the piece of paper slipped under the door, he immediately opened the door to find out who did it, but as soon as he opened the door he was shocked to see no one in the entire two sides of the corridor. He was in a dilemma whether to call Lucas about this or not, since he had literally just gone to his morning class. But he knew Lucas had only few classes today and he'll be back in no time. But that also troubled him since he was not sure we they could miss an opportunity to bust the criminals . Mark sat down with hands in his head not being able to make a decision. 

Mark got up at once as decided to hit the library since a mind off in books was a good way to distract himself, he wore his clothes and went down to the central library in his college.

Bro are you coming for the game tonight?

Lucas was in the class talking with his friends as his professor hadn't come to the class yet, as one of his friend had asked him if he was interested for the game that night. 

I would love too, but I'm busy tonight. 

OOOOOhhhhhh, busy huh ~ 

All his friends began to laugh when he mentioned busy, they had other meaning in their mind, while Lucas laughed brushing the thoughts away.

Well too bad, we'll be going to a party after the game.

Oh right, this would be the first party since the last death incidents in the party on our campus. 

I'm still getting creeps on what had happened there. 

Everyone were busy talking about the death in the party last time and that's when Lucas became more interested, he didn't want to be too suspicious by asking question, so he decided to just listen to them talk an get insights from it. 

I'm actually shocked the police closed the case as drug overdose. 

Yeah! They were  basketball players and like Lucas too they won't take drugs. 

Not at least on the day of the game they won't. 

Then one of Lucas's friend turned towards him.

Say Lucas you won't take any kinds of drugs on the game day right?! 

Nope we don't cause we'll be busted when they would do the test and moreover in our team if anyone was suspected of doing drugs they'll be taken out of the team on the account of bad behavior and bad role model.

See I told you guys. 

I think the cops knew this but tried to close the case soon due to some other reason.

And moreover I was there an hour ago before the incident happened and everything seemed normal. 

How were you able to go? 

Well I was dating Josh at that time, so he asked me to come there with him, but suddenly he broke up with me in the party which made me really pissed and walk away from the party.
