She was standing, in the center of the Golden House, with her most faithful sword in her hand. Facing her was a man seeming slightly older than her according to his appearance. He was looking at her like a predator looks at its prey, with a smirk which could have depicted a playing mood, but which in reality was reflecting an unquenchable thirst for battle and a willingness to spill blood with greed. It was only at the sight of this giant narwhal, made entirely of water, which was falling on her, that she had a single thought: "How did it come to this..."

The Traveler, whose name was Lumine, was stranded on the fine sand of a beach in Teyvat. When she woke up, she had an amazing encounter with a flying fairy with a voracious appetite named Paimon. This little fairy couldn't have been more than sixty centimeters tall, and was wearing a blue cape that seemed to lead to another universe, as well as a crown that seemed to be levitating and that was held by the operation of the holy spirit on her head covered with white hair...

Lumine, completely lost, tried to recall her memories while straightening up to stare at the ocean stretching out in front of her and the strange flying fairy. Suddenly, everything came back to her: the world she came from, the different worlds she had crossed, as well as her companion and only friend, her brother Aether. Shaken by emotion, Lumine clutched her arms around her body, trembling with fear at the thought that she had been separated from her brother.

Paimon looked at her in silence, not knowing what to say to this stranger she had just met. She was dressed in a strange way, wearing a white dress with subtle touches of gold and blue, reflecting an impression of purity like an angel descended from heaven. Her silky blond hair reflected the sunlight beautifully, and was enhanced by her two white flowers with a single pastel blue petal hanging on the right side of her head. Finally, Paimon's gaze fell on her eyes, of a brilliant golden color, seeming to catch the sunlight to diffuse it a hundredfold through those sparkling irises. When she saw that they were clouded with tears, Paimon tried to comfort her as much as she could.

Then a promise was made: Lumine would stay with Paimon until she found her brother, and in exchange, Paimon would serve as her guide (or walking snack, as the case may be...) during her long journey through the unknown land that was Teyvat.

Her journey began.

She met many people and became the heroine of Mondstadt and an honorary Knight of the Order of Favonius. Having found no trace of her brother in this land of freedom despite her incessant searching, she decided to travel further and further, in order to find, in a future she hoped was near, that sweet warmth she missed so much.

One day, she didn't forget to seize this opportunity that was offered to her.
