Chapter eight: The Future

Shuichi's POV

I waited and waited hours for Kokichi.. I wanted to know what happened..... I needed to know.... but it was like Kokichi had suddenly disappeared from my head,.. I could only really remember his name since the teacher had called me in and told me he would be moving schools...?

What's happening.... my head hurts... I wanna see his face again..... it's not fair....

Third person POV
13 years later because I'm mean

Kokichi's POV

It had been years since Shuichi and I met.. I had...forgotten him, but not entirely.. I would still have dreams about him about every other day... I finally started my own organization... it was so amazing, I met people that are like my family..

I was walking to the store to buy some Panta for my group and I, not looking until I bumped into a tall male, getting embarrassed "h-hey!-" I grumbled, glaring at the person until I saw a hot tall male with piercing yellow eyes stare at me, "a-ah!- sorry!!-"

"Don't be sorry.." I said faintly, "it's my fault anyways.. I wasn't paying attention.." I looked at one of the Panta bottles that were on the top shelf, not being able to reach it, seeing the tall male grab it for me

"H-hey I saw it first you stupid Blueberry!!" I said before feeling him place the bottle in my basket, "I wasn't gonna steal it from you- I wouldn't wanna steal from a mushroom anyways!-"

I heard him say this, my face immediately going pink, "w-who are you calling mushroom you- You!!-" I said poking his nose before suddenly grabbing his hat that was on his head, "s-stupid emo!!" I pointed at him.

He chuckled softly, accidentally dropping his wallet when he tried to snatch the hat back, I looked down at the note and saw a happy selfie of me and Shuichi from back in high school.. I smiled, soon muttering, "do you know these two.?" I asked

"Yes... well... I fell in love... with the boy in this picture..." Shuichi said smiling gently, "that was 13 years ago- now I'm 29- and- it's complicating....." he looked down at the picture, smiling gently

I looked at him closer, seeing his expression feel so calm, before blushing, noticing that I had said under my breath, "Shuichi..." I looked at Shuichi, my hands shaking once I placed them on his cheeks

Before I knew it I was crying, feeling my emotions get stirred again, looking at Shuichi deeply, wanting to hug him so badly.. but he stood silent... a-

End of Kokichi's dream, Dw it's still 13 years later above was just his dream about Shuichi

Kokichi's POV

I woke up feeling warm inside, looking at my alarm clock, blushing gently, "it was a dream yet... it just felt so real...." I hugged my pillow, getting emotional, feeling embarrassed with myself.

I looked at my watch, seeing that it was 11am, man... that dream was so amazing.... but.. I have to plan a dice heist... I hope that I'll see Shuichi soon but I doubt it..

I quickly sat up, grabbing my cape off its rack, slipping it on, since I always slept in my uniform, I put on my hat, rushing outside to meet dice at a museum, where we would be stealing a huge jewel since the museum was closed that day.

I saw a car at the bottom, seeing good old Kyoko Kirigiri, and a tall male next to her helping her with the case, I rushed to the roof, and jumped into the building, waiting for dice to follow

After dice came in we all headed over to the jewel area where a tall male with handcuffs and a hat were staring at us, "I'll be taking the dice case from now on.." he said confidently, his hat covering his hat

"Who even are you stupid detective!-" I scoffed, suddenly seeing him Toss his hat aside, smirking, "who am I..." he smiled widely, "I'm Shuichi Saihara... the ultimate detective!!"

Shuichi......
