Chapter 15

(Narrator's POV)

"So spill it: What happened with you two?" Kiki asked as Connie rolled her eyes and the question. She and Steven had gone to the base and were surprised to find a few of the others there. To be exact: It was Sadie, Kiki, Jenny, Lapis, Peridot, Patricia, Buck and Sour Cream. Ronaldo, Peedee and Daniel had stepped out for a while. And due to the length of time that they all had gone without hearing from Steven and Connie, rumors were already spreading that the two had gotten back together over some "Nighttime Reconciliation"(Ronaldo's term for it).

"You guys are horrible, you know that? Yeah, Steven and I talked. Why make it even more than that?" Connie asked in annoyance. But she sighed, knowing she wasn't fooling anyone. And with Steven on Homeworld checking in with the Diamonds, she was on her own.

"Come on, tell us: Did you guys kiss and wrestle?" Peridot asked eagerly as Connie again let out an annoyed groan as Sadie laughed.

"OK. Let's try this: Let's say something DID happen for the sake of conversation..." She asked as Connie couldn't help but smile.

"Yes. He was amazing." She replied as Sadie, Kiki and Jenny all gasped with looks of pure bliss on their faces as Connie shook her head and chuckled.

"I'm not telling you what size he is, so don't even bother." She said as Jenny smirked.

"At least describe it with your hands?" She asked as Connie sighed and made large gap between her hands, causing Kiki, Jenny and Sadie to gasp.

"He's THAT big?!? How are you even walking right now?!?" Jenny exclaimed as Connie rolled her eyes.

"Can we please get off the subject of my sex life and Steven's massive penis before you drive me insane?" She asked as the girls all laughed. Peridot and Lapis soon decided to go on patrol since Steven was on Homeworld. A while after they left, however, the door opened...

"Hey Lapis. You guys are back earl---" Jenny began to say until...

*POW!*

"What the?!?" Connie exclaimed as she then gasped at what she saw: Amethyst with her whip wrapped around the throat of Daniel and two drones dragging a beat up Ronaldo and Peedee.

"H-How did you find us?!?" Jenny exclaimed, her nose bloody from Amethyst's fist as the Purple Gem glared at her...

*WHAM!*

"LEAVE THEM ALONE, AMETHYST!!" Connie screamed as the Purple Gem glared at her.

"That's really up to you. If you surrender, I'll let the rest of them go." She said coldly as Connie relented, not wanting anyone else to get hurt as she allowed herself to be taken. But right when she was taken out of the base by Pearl's drones...

"Search this place. If there's any others, deal with them." Amethyst ordered as the remaining drones continued to assault and pummel Kiki, Jenny and Sadie. Some of them went into the rooms where they found Buck, Sour Cream and Patricia and brutally beat them as well.

A while after the drones were done, Peridot and Lapis had returned from their patrol...and gasped in horror at the scene that was waiting for them!

"How?!? How did this happen?!?" Peridot exclaimed as a dark look appeared on Lapis' face.

"Go to the warp pad and head to Homeworld, Peridot! I'll stand guard here in case Pearl or any of those Gems decide to come back for another round!" The Blue Gem said as Peridot nodded and rushed to the Warp Pad!

*Meanwhile on Homeworld...*

Steven had found out about Spinel's little rescue mission and while he was annoyed that Spinel would be so reckless, his relief for her and Jasper's safety overrode any anger or frustration he may have had.
