Third Person POV
With Amaya
"Home alone again", Amaya thought to herself as she walked through the doors to her house and put her bag down. "I hope that Arinya will explain everything", she thought while making her way up the stairs to her room, "who am I kidding, of course she will".
Amaya walked into her room and saw the red owl sitting on her windowsill under the open window. "Ari!", Amaya exclaimed, smiling. Arinya looked towards her and smiled, "Hello Amaya".
"It's been a while since we last saw each other, how have you been?", Amaya asked her spirit animal. "I have been fine, thank you. How about you?", Arinya asked while flying over near Amaya. "Good good."
"I'm guessing that you want to know everything about what happened to the bracelets right?", Arinya asked, knowing well that's what Amaya wanted to know. Amaya nodded, curious about what was happening. "Close your eyes and I'll tell you when to open them again, ok?" Amaya responded with an "mhm" and closed her eyes.
"You can open them now", Arinya said when they had arrived. "This place never fails to amaze me", Amaya said, taking in the breathtaking sight before her. "Make yourself at home and we can start", Arinya said to Amaya.
Amaya went to a patch of grass full of flowers under a tree and lied down there. The owl spirit animal flew behind her and sat down on the tree above her.
"This is going to be quite a lot to process so if you have any questions just ask okay?", Arinya said. "Okay"
"What question do you want to be answered first?" "Where to start from...", Amaya said while thinking and trying to choose one from the bazillion questions she had. "How about telling me why our bracelets started glowing, if that's good for you", she said after a while of thinking.
"Of course it's okay with me. This question will most probably give you the answers to most of your questions.", Arinya started and Amaya nodded along. "First of all, before I answer your question, the glowing of the bracelets doesn't mean that something is up with PJ Robot. It actually doesn't have to do with you being the PJ Masks." "So nothing happened in HQ right? Nobody has tried to break in again", Amaya asked to be sure she is understanding everything. "No no, nothing happened" "Ok, you can continue"
"This isn't at all a bad thing, on the contrary, it's an amazing thing. You, my girl, have found your soulmate", Arinya told the girl that was currently looking at her wide-eyed.
"Really!? So soulmates really exist!?", Amaya said, still in shock. "Yes, my girl, they do exist", she reassured her. "I only read about soulmates in books, I never knew that they really existed"
"They exist, in fact, everyone has a soulmate, but only the PJ Masks will know who it is" "How? And that means that Greg does have a soulmate right?", Amaya asked. "To answer your second question, yes, Greg does have a soulmate but you can't know more about his soulmate. And as for your first question, the PJ Masks, past, present or future, know because of your PJ Bracelets. How, you may ask. That light from your bracelet will let you know when you and your soulmate both like each other back. As you may have noticed, the light also gets brighter the closer you are to your soulmate. When you hold hands, then it gets brighter. When you hug, brighter, embrace, brighter, kiss, brighter, etcetera. Do you understand till now?", Arinya asked after noticing that she had rambled on and said a lot of stuff at once, which will most probably be a lot to process.
Amaya nodded and began connecting the pieces to who she thought is her soulmate. "Now Amaya you're a very smart girl so with all the information I said I think you already made the connection to who your soulmate is. Would you like to guess or should I tell you myself?" "I'll try to guess", the 14 year old girl replied.
After a few moments of silence, Amaya sat up and asked Arinya who she thought her soulmate is. "Is it Connor? Because his bracelet was the only one glowing and when we moved our hands closer to each other the light got brighter. Also I think I might like him...", she said, her face turning a light shade of pink and scratching the back of her neck at the last sentence.
The red spirit animal chuckled a bit at her last sentence and replied with a nod, still smiling. "WHAT!?", Amaya exclaimed, her hands flying to her head, "I've known him all my life and he is my soulmate!? He is one of my best friends and I was that lucky to get him as my soulmate!? I can't believe I got this lucky!"
She saw Arinya smiling at her and realised her sudden outburst. "Heh, sorry Ari, didn't mean to be that loud.", Amaya apologised. "Don't worry about it, all of the previous PJ Masks had the same reaction to hearing this news", Arinya reassured the brunette.
"So I think I have told you everything regarding this topic, do you have any more questions?" Amaya replied by shaking her head, signaling a no. "Okay, I'm going to take us back to your room and unpause time. You can close your eyes now."
Amaya did as she was instructed and when told to she opened them again to find herself in her room. She saw the owl spirit animal sitting on her windowsill and motioned for her to come near her.
"So I guess that's a bye for now?", Amaya asked, saddened by the thought of not seeing Arinya for a while. "I guess so, but don't be sad, I will still come over to check up on you." Amaya smiled slightly and pulled her into a hug.
When she released Arinya from the hug, Amaya waved to her and said, "Bye for now, see you soon hopefully?" "You will see me soon, don't worry. Bye!", Arinya reassured the girl.
Amaya smiled at her and in the blink of an eye, Arinya was gone.
