Marley walked through the quiet halls of the castle as it was past curfew hoping she wouldn't be caught by a teacher or one of the prefects on patrol.
As she got to the kitchen she tickled the pear and made her way inside. As soon as she was inside Dobby the house elf came over to her.
"What can I help Miss Marley Potter with ?"
"I was wondering if you could get me two hot chocolates but put one in a flask and two pieces of cake."
"I will get them right away"
"Thanks Dobby."
She took a seat at the table and waited for the house elf to come back with her food. What she didn't realise was a figure sitting further down the table drinking a cup of tea.
"Jesus Fucking Christ I think I just died for a second." Marley gasped as she hadn't seen the professor sitting there when she walked in.
"May I ask why you are in the kitchens after curfew?"
"Oh um I was um hungry " she was surprised he didn't comment on her walking out his classroom and the scene she caused in the great hall but she wasn't complaining.
"Right well I'm going to let it slide for now but if I catch you again I will have to give you a detention." he said as he stood up from where he was seated and headed for the door
"Goodnight Ms Potter."
"Goodnight Professor."
She sat there thinking why the man didn't call her out on her behaviour towards him waiting for Dobby to come back with her food.

The next couple of classes she had for DADA Snape was filling in for Lupin as he was out sick.
"Uhhh I can't believe I'm saying this but when is Lupin back I am sick of this man."
"Marls are you well." Caspian said putting his hand on her forehead
"What do you mean am I well." she said swatting his hand away from her head
"You just said you want Lupin back."
"Well I would rather him over Snape any day. They both despise me but at least Lupin isn't as much of a prick than him"
"I don't know whether I should be flattered or hurt"
"Ah shit "
"Hi professor " the two said slowly turning to face their DADA teacher.
"Hi Mr Jones ,Ms Potter " Lupin said walking past the two.
"Wait did he actually say my name without sounding disgusted."
"Ya I think he did."
"The Potter charm must be working."
"Shut up Marls your too cocky."
"It's called self love babes." she said ruffling her friends hair.
"Fuck off."

Marley was resting against a tree reading when she saw a black dog making its way towards her .
"Hey bud."
"You must be lost."
"You hungry?"
The dog started wagging its tale at the girl when she pulled out a half eaten sandwich from her bag. After eating the sandwich the dog rested it's head against the girls lap. She spent the rest of her afternoon like that until it was time for dinner.
"Look I have to go now but I will see you again."
As she made her way into the great hall she looked for her friends . She only saw one and that was George Weasley.
"Hey where is everyone else."
"Oh hey Marls nice to see you too."
"Shut up Georgie."
"That's not a way to speak to the only person that waited for you."
"Why I'm sorry kind sir thank you very much so for waiting for me to eat dinner."
"Why it was my pleasure."
The two started chuckling and they sat down and started eating and talking about their day.

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN." Max shouted across the common room as she made her way over to Marley.
"I was down at the black lake and then I was with George eating dinner." Marley explained to her.
"George you say." Caspian piped up from the floor where he was laying down.
"Oh shut it." Marley and max said turning to the boy.
The two girls spent the night talking about boys and laughing at the other when they mentioned an embarrassing crush the other used to have.
"At least I didn't like Percy Weasley."Marley snorted.
"What I like a man who has power."
"What a prefect?"
"He is not a prefect anymore Marley I don't know if you have heard but he is Head boy."
"I think everyone knows it's the only thing he says when he speaks."
"Anyways I don't like him anymore but there is something about those red heads."Max giggled.
"Oh I know, remember Charlie Weasley"Marley said as she started fanning her face.
"The things I would do if I got the chance with that man" Marley added.
"Marley"Max gasped laughing at her friends words.
"What I'm only speaking the truth."
The girls both shared a look and burst out laughing. They were surprised their roommates didn't give out to them at how loud they were being.
