"Marls get up" I heard Harry calling my name for the second time that morning ."We are going back to Hogwarts today get up or we will miss the train".

I quickly got up forgetting we were going back to school. I hadn't seen my friends at all this summer as Harry and I are stuck at the Dursley's . I can't wait till I finish school so I can take Harry and get out of that hell hole.
As soon as I got downstairs with my luggage we had to leave. We were staying at the leaky cauldron as Harold decided he would blow up our Aunt. I swear that boy is going to be the death of me.

"Took you long enough Marls" Fred said from behind me scaring the living shit out of me "I Fucking swear to Merlin Freddie why do you always sneak up on me".

" Language" I heard Mrs Weasley say from the door I heard the twins snickering from behind me .
"Sorry Molly " I glared at the twins and then started laughing with them as we walked out the door on our way the platform 9 3/4 .

The platform was crowded with students saying goodbye to their parents as I was searching for Caspian and Max. We met on the train in our first year and have been best friends ever since. I've always been a bit jealous when I would see people hugging there parents goodbye because I never got to have that experience. I try to stay positive as I know Harry has it harder than me as being 'the boy who lived'.

"MARLS"  As soon as I turned around two bodies came crashing into me
"Can't breath"I muffled out from their bone crushing grip.

"Oh shit sorry " Caspian said letting go of me.

"I missed ye ".

"We did too" max said still holding on to me as if she were to let go I would disappear .

We headed onto the train and found an empty compartment."So what did ye do during the summer?"

For the rest of the train ride we talked about our summer and our NEWT exams coming up this year.

"We are hardly here all ready" I said as the train stopped.

"The train might of broken down or something " Caspian whispered as max was asleep on the seat across from us.
I suddenly started to get cold and the lights went out. It felt as if all hope I felt left my body and I quickly stood up as I started to worry about Harry.

"I'm going to go check what's wrong" I told him as I got up and slid open the compartment door. I saw a black figure and realised straight away what it was. I instantly started to get anxious and made my way towards the compartment it was in. I seen a flash of white light and went to see what happened.

"HARRY" I shouted as I seen my younger brother passed out on the compartment floor all the fear I felt was gone as I was only worrying about my little brother.

"WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM" I asked Ron and Hermione who also looked as anxious as I was feeling.

"It was a dementor " a deep voice said from behind me .

"No shit Sherlock I know it was a fucking dementor but why the fuck did he pass out " I spoke out too busy worrying over my brother that I didn't realise what I was after saying to the man standing behind me . Harry started to wake up and I tackled him with questions .

"Are you ok"
"What happened"
"WHY THE FUCK IS IT ALWAYS YOU HAROLD"

"Here eat this it will make you feel better" a man said behind me handing Harry a piece of . I slowly turned around acknowledging the mans presence .

"Who are you?"
"Professor R.J Lupin" I heard Hermione say beside me .

"Shit" I said under my breath recalling what I said moments before. Well there goes my first impression as a good student out the window.

The professor broke the silence "Harry are you ok?"

" y y yes sir" he stuttered still in shock after what happened .

"Right then" I said feeling very uncomfortable with the energy in the compartment.

"I better head back to my compartment before Max and Caspian start looking for me "

"I'll escort you down as I need to go talk to the train driver"

"Great" I muttered a bit annoyed
"Har come find me if you need me I'm only a couple of compartment's down "

As I walked down to my compartment with the professor I couldn't help but realise the scars on his face. He caught me staring and my face immediately went red. I was lucky enough that Caspian was after poking his head out the compartment and started making his way over.

"Merlin you look like you are after seeing a ghost "

"Thanks for the compliment shithead"
I heard the professor chuckle at my use of words and immediately apologised for cursing in front of him after forgetting he was with me .

"It's alright " he said as he started to walk away before he turned around.

"I'm sorry but I didn't catch your name"

"Oh it's Marley Potter sir "

"Well it was nice meeting you Marley"
I got a weird feeling in my stomach when I heard him say my name but I instantly forgot about it as I was dragged into the compartment questioned about what was after happening.

For the rest of the train ride I couldn't get the professor out of my head.
