The Bloom Titan (1/2)

CH.3: Bad Dreams

It's been three years since the trial and drama and I've definitely developed mentally and physically. I turned thirteen two months ago and Doctor Jeager doesn't need to come and check on me anymore, I sometimes get invited to dinner and stuff so I can still see my new friends Eren and Mikasa.

I've made the local village crime free and safe for families, but now they get loads of tourists to try get a glimpse of the 'Mystery Scout', that's what they call me. Just because I wear papas cape and uniform doesn't mean I'm a scout. Although I'd love to be a scout, it's just irritating on how they judge a book by its cover.

I just had breakfast and I'm now getting ready to meet Charlie and Else for a surprise in Shiganshina,

I got my harnesses and gear on just in case something was to happen. I made sure my gas canisters were full and I refilled my blades and went out to tack Maggie up.
I walked into the stable to see Maggie rolling in her bed, covered in hay.

"Oh Maggie, I now need to give you a brush."I sigh but couldn't help but smile.

I picked up a brush out of the grooming box and walked up to Maggie and brushed the hay off her coat.

I finished getting the last of the hay out her mane and Mags was back to her normal self.
I tacked her up and attached a satchel onto for some oats to give to her.

I led her out the stable and mounted from the mounting block. I gave her a slight nudge with my heel and she bolted off in the direction of Shiganshina.

Recently I've been having nightmares that are very realistic and sometimes scary, one of them was about the last time I saw Doctor Jeager, he asked me to follow him into the forest because there was a surprise waiting. I saw Mama tied up against a tree, trying to muffle a scream.
Dr. Jeager took the gag out her mouth so she can talk.

"Grisha, you don't need to do this."She wails at him.

"I'm sorry, but you can't hold that Titan anymore, we were sent here to our paradise, now I can't let you die without passing the Titan on, if I do Marley might get it!"He yells back. "You're daughter has to inherit the Bloom Titan or the world is going to turn against us!"

Thats when my Dream usually stops. I don't know what he means by 'you're daughter has to inherit the Bloom Titan.' but it's just a dream so I don't need to worry at all.

It is a beautiful evening, the sun is a burning orange with a small breeze filling the boiling atmosphere with cool waves of air.

In a matter of minutes we arrived at the outer gate of Shiganshina, I jumped off Maggie's saddle and tied her up to a post then took the satchel of oats and tied it in front of her so she has something to munch on while I'm away.
"Right Maggie, I'll see you soon. Stay safe and kick the shit outta anyone who try's to steal, okay." I laugh giving Maggie one last pet on her neck.

I walk through the gate and head to the outer gate so I can meet up with Charlie and Else for the surprise.
I walk along the river bank since it's the fastest way to get there.

People gave me loads of stares and whispered about me behind my back because I am wearing scout uniform, if I don't hurry some military police could notice me and question me.
